摘要: A heat dissipating device includes a heat sink (10), a heat pipe (20), a heat reservoir (30) thermally connecting with the heat sink through the heat pipe, and a fan (40) generating an airflow through the heat sink. The heat pipe includes an evaporating portion (202) attached to the heat sink and a condensing portion (204) attached to the heat reservoir. The heat reservoir is made of metal containing working medium, such as water, therein. The heat reservoir stores or releases heat based on the amount of heat generated by the CPU to realize a compensation to the increase or decrease of temperature of the CPU, whereby the change rate of the temperature of the CPU from idle to busy condition and vice versa can be more stable.

摘要: A head including a write element for writing data to a magnetic media, and methods for its production are provided. A write element of the invention includes one or more of a recessed first pole, a heat sink layer, and a shortened yoke length. A method of the invention provides forming an anti-reflective layer before forming a mask layer. During photolithography the anti-reflective layer suppresses undesirable reflections off of features, such as vertical sidewalls, that otherwise limit how closely to such features portions of the mask layer can be formed.

摘要: Group II-VI compound semiconductor light emitting devices which include at least one II-VI quantum well region of a well layer disposed between first and second barrier layers is disclosed. The quantum well region is sandwiched between first and second cladding layers of a II-VI semiconductor material. The first cladding layer is formed on and lattice matched to the first barrier layer and to a substrate of a III-V compound semiconductor material. The second cladding layer is lattice matched to the second barrier layer. The quantum well layer comprises a II-VI compound semiconductor material having the formula A.sub.x B.sub.(1-x) C wherein A and B are two different elements from Group II and C is at least one element from Group VI. When the second cladding layer has a p-type conductivity, a graded bandgap ohmic contact according to the present invention can be utilized. The graded bandgap contact can be a single continuously graded II-VI p-type region or a plurality of cells with each of the cells having first and second thin layers of first and second p-type II-VI semiconductor materials respectively. Another embodiment of the present invention discloses a monolithic multicolor light emitting element capable of emitting four colors and a method for fabricating same. The monolithic multicolor element includes four II-VI semiconductor light emitting devices formed on a single III-V substrate.

摘要: According to various embodiments, a system for forming a ceramic part includes a chamber having a first closed end and a second end defining an opening. The platform is disposed within the chamber and adapted to move vertically in a z-direction between the first closed end and the second end. An applicator is adapted to move laterally in an x-y direction. The applicator includes a beveled edge. A light source is positioned in line with the second end of the chamber. A digital micro-mirror device is positioned between the light source and the second end of the chamber. The shutter is movable between a first open position and a second open position. A first image is projected when the digital micro-mirror device is in the first open position and a second image, different than the first image is projected when the digital micro-mirror device is in the second open position.
