Abstract: A wireless charger may include a transmitting coil to induce charging of a target device, a printed circuit board, a charger casing to include the transmitting coil and the printed circuit board, and a thermally conductive coating to dissipate heat. The transmitting coil may include at least one electrically conducting coil. The thermally conductive coating may be in direct contact with at least one of the transmitting coil, the printed circuit board, and the charger casing.

Abstract: Various examples provide a method of making a hydrophobic surface for an object. According to the method, a hydrophobic coating may be applied to an original surface of the object. A microstructure may be formed on the original surface of the object. The hydrophobic surface of the object may be obtained with the microstructure submerged by the hydrophobic coating. The microstructure may be a rough structure including micro-sired portions, and may have greater hardness than the hydrophobic coating.

Abstract: One example provides a method of manufacturing. The method comprises oxidizing, using plasma, a first surface of a substrate comprising a metal-material. Abstract: The present subject matter relates to display devices. In an example implementation, a display device comprises a display unit having color pixels and tracks of a black matrix covering spaces between the color pixels. The display device also comprises a display control layer over the display unit. The display control layer has longitudinal channels separated by transparent substrates and overlapping the tracks of the black matrix in one direction. The longitudinal channels comprise a first set of channels filled with undoped bi-stable liquid crystals to control a view angle of a display from the display unit, and a second set of channels filled with doped bi-stable liquid crystals to control absorption of blue/ultraviolet (UV) light from the display unit.
