Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a data transmission method and apparatus. The method includes sending, by a base station to UE, a downlink control channel used to schedule downlink data. The method further includes indicating, by the base station, a first time-frequency resource domain and a second time-frequency resource domain using the downlink control channel. A downlink data channel is sent on a time-frequency resource that is in the first time-frequency resource domain and that does not belong to the second time-frequency resource domain.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a network access node and a client device for content type indication. The network access node selects a subset of bits among a set of bits in a second data packet associated with the first data packet based on the content type for the first data packet. The network access node scrambles the selected subset of bits with a first scrambling sequence associated with an identity of the client device. The network access node transmits the first data packet and the second data packet to the client device (300). Upon reception of the first data packet and the second data packet, the client device descrambles the scrambled subset of bits in the second data packet using a first scrambling sequence associated with an identity of the client device to determine the content type for the first data packet.

Abstract: The application relates to a network access node (100) for a wireless communication system (500). The network access node (100) generates a control message (502) comprising frequency information associated with a modulation frequency used by the network access node (100) for modulation of symbols for transmission to a client device (300). The network access node (100) further transmits the control message (502) to the client device (300). Furthermore, the application also relates to a client device (300), corresponding methods, and a computer program.

Abstract: In certain embodiments, a method includes generating a first signal and a second signal. The first signal includes at least one first sub-signal, and the second signal includes at least one second sub-signal. A subcarrier frequency spacing of the first sub-signal is M times as large as a subcarrier frequency spacing of the second sub-signal. The method further includes separately sending each first sub-signal and each second sub-signal. In a range of a first preset frequency apart from a reference subcarrier frequency, all the second sub-signals sent on a subcarrier corresponding to a subcarrier frequency whose difference from the reference subcarrier frequency is a non-integer multiple of the subcarrier frequency spacing of the first signal are zero signals. The reference subcarrier frequency is a subcarrier frequency of the first sub-signal adjacent to the second signal in a frequency domain.

Abstract: A preamble sequence sending method and apparatus are provided. The method includes sending, by user equipment (UE), a first preamble sequence according to a first transmit power and using a repetition factor N1; if the UE fails to receive, in a preset time period after the first preamble sequence is sent, a response message that is sent by a network-side device and that is corresponding to the first preamble sequence, switching, by the UE, to a next repetition factor N2, where a quantity of consecutive sending times indicated by the next repetition factor N2 is greater than a quantity of consecutive sending times indicated by the repetition factor N1; and sending, by the UE, a second preamble sequence according to a second transmit power and using the next repetition factor N2.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a transmission mode switching method and a device. The method includes: monitoring, by user equipment UE, pilot signals sent by at least two nodes, where the pilot signals sent by the different nodes are different, and the pilot signals are used for differentiating the at least two nodes; and sending, by the UE, a physical layer measurement result report to a base station (NodeB) if the UE determines, according to the detected pilot signals, that measurement results of the pilot signals of the at least two nodes meet a preset trigger condition, so that the base station performs downlink transmission mode switching. In this way, a latency for downlink transmission mode switching is reduced.
