    摘要： A semiconductor single crystal ingot cutting jig is shaped as a cylinder having a diameter approximately equal to an ingot diameter. A recess is provided at one end of the jig for receiving a head (or tail) of the ingot. An adhesive is provided in the recess so as to adhere the ingot to the jig when the head (or tail) of the ingot is inserted into the recess. Then, the ingot is fixed on a bed of a band-saw slicing machine. The head (or tail) of the ingot is fixed on the jig and thus will not overturn at the time just before finishing the cutting or at the end of cutting. This can prevent a blade of a band saw slicing machine from being damaged.

    摘要： A microprocessor-based telephone set includes a telephone number memory, a number indicator, an abbreviated number scanning switch and associated control circuit, in addition to a push-button dial and a hook switch as equipped in the usual telephone set. Telephone numbers are preset in correspondence to abbreviated numbers, so that a telephone number is dialed automatically by simply specifying a corresponding abbreviated number using the scanning switch and indicator. By provision of an FM transceiver within the handset and a separate relay unit for establishing radio communication with the base telephone station, a mobile telephone system is configured.

    摘要： An embroidery sewing machine is provided for automatically driving an embroidery frame along X and Y axes. The bed of the machine is provided with a pair of parallel slots extending parallel to the X axis. A pair of carriages extend through said slots and the opposite ends of a single Y-axis guide rod which extends parallel to the Y-axis are secured to said carriages. A traveller is movably guided along the guide rod and one of said carriages is movably guided along a similar X-axis guide rod mounted below the bed. A pair of servo motors each having a drive roller are disposed under the bed and the carriages and traveller are each provided with a plurality of rollers. Wires extend around the rollers and rotation of one of the servo motors drives the carriages upon which the Y-axis guide rod is mounted along the X-axis guide rod. The rotation of the other servo motor causes the traveller to be driven in the Y-axis direction along the Y-axis guide rod. The embroidery frame is magnetically secured to the traveller for easy detachment. The servo motors operate under the control of a magnetic tape.

    摘要： This invention concerns a signal attenuator which can be used between an antenna and a television receiver or VHF/UHF radio, so as to appropriately attenuate VHF or UHF signals applied thereto. The signal attenuator comprises, in a shielding metal enclosure, an insulator substrate having an input electrode, an output electrode and a pair of ground electrodes, the electrodes being arranged symmetrical to each other with respect to a point on the substrate. The electrodes are arranged to define narrow gaps between the ground electrodes and the input and output electrodes. A set of flat shaped resistors is directly connected between the electrodes in symmetrical relationship with respect to the point on the substrate.
