摘要： A memory controller operates in two modes to support different types of memory devices. In a first mode, the memory controller distributes a dedicated reference voltage with each of a plurality of signal bundles to a corresponding plurality of memory devices. The reference voltages are conveyed using pads that are alternatively used for e.g. timing-reference signals in a second mode, so the provision for bundle-specific reference voltages need not increase the number of pads on the memory controller.

A first repeating unit is a vinyl ether-type repeating unit. A second repeating unit includes a maleic acid-type repeating unit. A third repeating unit includes an acrylic acid-type repeating unit. The polymer dispersant has a molecular weight of from about 20,000 to about 80,000 Daltons. The slurry made from this composition can be made at reduced water levels to speed drying and reduce drying costs.

Apparatus or carrying out the method, comprising an illuminating arrangement adapted to illuminate the object with a periodic pattern of light; the illuminating arrangement being such that the pattern is in focus in a focal plane and defocuses progressively away from said focal plane; the object being locatable with respect to the illuminating arrangement such that different parts of it are at different distances from the focal plane; image data capturing means adapted to capture image data from the thus illuminated object; data analysis means adapted to analyse captured image data to extract depth information based on the extent of defocussing of the pattern; and image display means for displaying an image of the object without the pattern and with depth information.

摘要： A child's wristwatch type device featuring simple safety and security communications capability. The device will allow a child to call one of several preset numbers, including 911, with a single push of a button, thereby providing peace of mind for both parents and child. The device is unique in that a child cannot run up a large phone bill with call to friends, as they might tend to do with a ordinary cell phone. The invention essentially comprises a wristwatch like housing with a matching lid attached along the backside by spring loaded hinge means. A wireless telephone means with retractable antenna is mounted in the base housing, along with a rechargeable battery. In the closed position, a digital clock and small speaker is exposed on the top side of the lid for providing voice or ringer sound. When the lid is open, a circular cover plate forms the top surface of the base housing and has several push buttons, a microphone, and an ON/OFF switch. The push buttons include both call buttons (example: home, mother, father, 911) and operations function buttons (example: end call, clear display, set clock, etc.). When the lid is closed, the ON/OFF switch will automatically place the phone in idle mode. The device also has a special securing means to assure that the child doesn't remove the device from their wrist or lose it. In use, to place a call the child simply opens the lid to the device and pushes one of the available call buttons. To receive a call, the child would open the lid and start talking.

摘要： A medical guide wire torquer is disclosed which is adapted for one-handed convenient attachment, release, and re-attachment to a medical guide wire utilized during medical procedures. The guide wire torquer has a body having ends and positioners integral or affixed to each end, a first channel, and an internal cavity. At least one elastomer is positioned within the internal cavity. A button is positioned within the cavity for engagement to the elastomer where the button extends beyond the body. The button includes a pair of retainers adapted for engagement to the positioners and a second channel adapted for alignment with the first channel during the release of a guide wire. A guide wire is releasably grasped by the vertical movement of the button within the cavity which causes the expansion of the elastomers which, in turn, results in a binding of the guide wire between the first and second channels.
