Abstract:
A radical-modified polymer having a free radical compound stable in the presence of oxygen at an ordinary temperature at the end of the molecule thereof or in the molecular chain thereof and a polymer composition containing the same.
Abstract:
A viscoelasticity improving agent for rubber obtained by reacting an alkyllithium compound with a free radical compound having an isocyanate group in the molecule thereof and existing stably at room temperature in the presence of oxygen and a rubber composition.
Abstract:
A non-pneumatic tire tire/wheel assembly including a tire main body 1 at least a part of which is constituted by an elastomer composition, the tire main body being assembled on a wheel. The tire main body 1 is tightened and fixed to the wheel by a tightening member 7 that is embedded in the tire main body 1 throughout a tire circumferential direction. Furthermore, at least a part of the elastomer composition constituting the tire main body is a thermoreversible crosslinking elastomer composition. In the non-pneumatic tire tire/wheel assembly for light vehicle use, a tire/wheel assembly can be provided in which a tire is strongly and reliably fixed to a wheel and, moreover, by which recycling (material recycling) of the tire main body is enabled.
Abstract:
A method for manufacturing natural rubber according to an embodiment of the present technology includes: adding to a natural rubber latex at least one type of a predetermined sulfonic acid selected from the group consisting of a monoalkyl sulfonic acid, a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether sulfonic acid, and an alkylbenzene sulfonic acid; and, thereafter, removing moisture from the mixture of the natural rubber latex and the sulfonic acid.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a thermoplastic elastomer composition including a thermoplastic elastomer (A) having a side chain having at least one member selected from the group consisting of imino group, nitrogen-containing heterocycle and covalent crosslink site, and a carbonyl-containing group, and an ethylene-propylene copolymer (B) comprising propylene block and ethylene-propylene block. The thermoplastic elastomer of the present invention exhibits excellent high temperature flowability and mechanical strength while retaining its excellent flexibility.
Abstract:
A process for producing a modified polymer having, in the molecule thereof, an organic group(s) introduced thereinto and derived from a compound(s) having a free radical comprising reacting a polymer such as an elastomer with a compound having the free radical stable at an ordinary temperature in the presence of oxygen, after or while a carbon radical(s) is generated in the polymer, whereby the modified polymer having an improved bondability and processability is formed.
Abstract:
A silica-polymer composite, featuring a low viscosity and excellent processability when being kneaded with a rubber and superior in dispersibility and tensile strength, comprising a polymer having a polar group containing a hetero atom and a benzene ring or a polymer having a carboxylic acid reacted with silica in a solution.
Abstract:
A modified polybutene(polyisobutylene) containing isobutylene repeating units and having, in the main chain, at the ends, and/or at the side chains of the polymer chain thereof, free radicals stable at a room temperature and in the presence of oxygen, or having a half-ester structure, amide structure, onium salt structure, or imide structure or acid anhydride residual group, as well as a rubber composition containing the same.
Abstract:
A rubber composition comprising a diene rubber, a reinforcing agent and a compound containing radicals capable of being stably present at room temperature in the presence of oxygen in the molecule thereof, selected from the group consisting of nitroxide radicals, hydrazyl radicals, allyloxyl radicals, and trityl radicals and the analogues thereof or a compound having at least one substituent group selected from amino groups, isocyanate groups, hydroxyl groups, carboxyl groups, oxirane groups, and thiirane groups.
