摘要: An evaluation method and printer in which a maintenance man may easily identify a deteriorated component in addition to a component that is broken down or is remarkably hard to operate without the need for any additional complex detecting device. A printer has a control part which controls a mechanical part and judges quantitatively in which state among normal, deteriorated, and abnormal states each mechanical part component is located. This judgment will change in accordance with whether the printer is in a maintenance or a normal mode. Further, a deteriorated component can be determined by visually inspecting a copy after one or a combination of electric parameters have been set to printable upper and lower limits.

摘要: A print processing apparatus realizes high speed processing of input data which includes various types of drawing objects such as images, graphics and characters. In the apparatus, input data generated by an input data generating unit is converted into intermediate data in an intermediate data generating element. An intermediate data order controlling element rearranges intermediate data pieces based on overlap therebetween and classifies them into groups, in each of which the data pieces can be processed in parallel. A group ID indicating a group for parallel processing, a hardware configuration ID and so on are assigned to the intermediate data piece. A rasterizing unit receives configuration data from a configuration data administering element, if necessary, in accordance with the hardware configuration ID assigned to the intermediate data piece, and rewrites a function of a reconfigurable rasterizing element under the control of the reconfiguration controlling element. The rasterizing unit rasterizes the intermediate data into dot data and provides it to an outputting unit.

摘要: A multicolor electrostatic recording apparatus in which two or more different color toner image are superimposed by respective electrostatic recording units. Each of the electrostatic recording units includes an electrostatic latent image carrier, a developer for developing an electrostatic latent image formed on the carrier with a color toner, and a detector for detecting the density of the developed image on the basis of a detecting mark which is formed on the carrier as a part of the latent image and developed by the developer. A discriminating means compares the density data with an optional desired density value to discriminate whether the density data falls in an allowable range. A controller feed-back controls at least one of parameters for determining the density of the developed image so that the density becomes to be in the allowable range, when the density falls out of the allowable range. The parameter is memorized as a compensating data for the density of the developed image, when the density falls in the allowable range. Thus, with the compensating data, a process using the parameter for determining the density of the developed image is carried out.

摘要: A relaying destination and designation system is disclosed which uses a facsimile apparatus having a store and simulcast function as a relay station so as to relay transmission of image data from a transmission request station to a remote destination via the relay station. The transmission request station is capable of instructing the relay station whether or not the latter should convert telephone numbers of designations on a destination-by-destination basis.

摘要: A facsimile apparatus is disclosed which, in a standby condition, displays the date and time, in a transmission mode displays the name of a receiving facsimile apparatus and the page number, prints out the name of the receiving apparatus, time of transmission, number of sheets transmitted, occurrence of failures on the facsimile and the like, and adds the time of transmission, name of the receiving apparatus and page number to video data to be transmitted, and in a reception mode displays the name of a transmitting apparatus and page number while printing out the name of the transmitting apparatus, time of reception, page number, occurrence of failures on the facsimile and the like. The size of extra data to be added to video data is varied at a transmitting apparatus depending on the type of a receiving apparatus: a comparatively large size for an analog (G II) type apparatus and a comparatively small size for a digital (G III) type apparatus. The positional relationship among extra data in the horizontal scan direction is automatically varied to match with a specific sheet width employed at a receiving apparatus. Only those portions of video data read from a document necessary for reproduction of extra data are occupied by the extra data on a copy sheet, thereby allowing a minimum of video data reproduced from a document to be lost.

摘要: A pressure measurement system may provide ready manufacturing, reliable operation, and/or enhanced performance by using a circuit board housing. In particular implementations, a pressure measurement system includes a pressure inlet joint, a pressure detecting component, a circuit board, and a circuit board housing. The pressure detecting component is coupled to the pressure inlet joint, which is adapted to introduce a pressure of a fluid. The circuit board is coupled to the pressure detecting component and is operable to condition an electrical signal from the pressure detecting component. The circuit board housing at least partially encloses the pressure detecting component and is adapted to engage the circuit board. The circuit board housing has a substantially cylindrical shape and includes a larger diameter section and a smaller diameter section, the smaller diameter section coupled to the pressure inlet joint, the circuit board located at least in part in the larger diameter section.
