    摘要: A system is described that uses data connectivity of dispensing units and an online community of users to develop, publicize, distribute, test, customize, and popularize user- and company-created, custom-formulated items. In one example, users can use “Build a Drink” software to create their own drink formulas from a palette of three or more ingredients, preferably dozens. They make custom designs for the labels on the beverage containers. Users/purchasers in the community rate and comment on drinks they try, earn rewards for community participation, and share in the profits from sales of their designer drinks. Custom-formulated items are instantly available at the whole network of dispensing units (or a subset thereof) immediately upon publication of the custom formulation and/or label design. A social network of consumers and designers share and evaluate items, and a recommendation engine suggests purchases based on data available to system.

    摘要: Bare die test device for making temporary electrical connections between bonding pads on the die and external test connectors includes a die chuck, a fanout substrate, and a substrate chuck. The fanout substrate has conductive bumps spaced for registration with die bonding pads. A die chuck receives the die and a substrate chuck holds the fanout substrate. In a fixed alignment embodiment, an alignment arrangement between the die chuck and the substrate chuck provides registration. In an alternative embodiment, the fanout substrate has a backside etched cavity exposing a transparent compliant material. A lower frame provides for lateral and angular positioning of the die chuck relative to the substrate chuck to bring the conductive bumps into alignment with the bonding pads, while visually observing the alignment through the transparent material.

    摘要: An improved method of manufacturing surface-crosslinked superabsorbent polymer particles is disclosed. The superabsorbent polymer particles are surface crosslinked using about 20 to about 35 wt % of 1,3-propanediol as a cosolvent in a surface-crosslinking step. The use of 1,3-propanediol as a cosolvent reduces the amount of surface-crosslinking agent required to adequately surface crosslink the superabsorbent polymer, and reduces or eliminates the fouling of process equipment attributed to previous cosolvents used in a surface crosslinking step.
