摘要: Methods and systems are provided to perform an adaptive access procedure on a multi-subscriber identity module (SIM) wireless communication device having at least a first SIM and a second SIM associated with a shared radio frequency (RF) resource. The wireless communication device may detect that signaling on a random access channel (RACH) is required in order to establish access to a first network on a modem stack associated with the first SIM, identify a first protection window having a duration based on timing of an expected response by the first network to signaling on the RACH, and determine whether a tune-away period to decode a paging channel in a second network supported by the second SIM is scheduled to occur within the first protection window. If so, the wireless communication device may postpone signaling on the RACH until completion of the scheduled tune-away period.

摘要: Various embodiments for performing remote authentication of a virtual subscriber identity module (SIM) on a mobile communication device include receiving, on a first subscription of the mobile communication device, an authentication request from a virtual SIM network. The mobile communication device may tune from the first subscription to a second subscription of the mobile communication device to send the authentication request to a remote server and periodically perform tune-aways between the first subscription and the second subscription while determining whether the remote server has sent an authentication response through the second subscription. The mobile communication device may send the authentication response to the virtual SIM network through the first subscription in response to determining that the remote server has sent an authentication response through the second subscription.

摘要: Techniques for prioritizing non-scheduled data are described. Non-scheduled data to be transmitted on a non-scheduled MAC-d flow having a non-scheduled priority and scheduled data to be transmitted on a scheduled MAC-d flow having a scheduled priority may be identified by a user equipment (UE). The UE may transmit the non-scheduled MAC-d flow and the scheduled MAC-d flow according to a priority condition. In one aspect, the UE may receive a pre-allocation of power associated with a non-empty non-scheduled MAC-d flow. Based on a priority condition that the non-scheduled priority is a highest priority, the UE may apply all of the pre-allocation of power when transmitting the non-scheduled MAC-d flow. In one aspect, based on a priority condition that the non-scheduled priority is a lower priority, the UE may adjust the non-scheduled priority and/or the scheduled priority so that the non-scheduled priority is a higher priority.

摘要: Systems and methodologies are described that facilitate supporting mobility for UEs and relay eNBs in split-cell relay configurations. Parameters regarding communicating with one or more UEs can be provided to disparate eNBs from a donor eNB to provide mobility for one or more of the UEs or a serving relay eNB. In addition, a donor eNB can request establishment of one or more radio bearers at a target relay eNB for continuing communications with one or more UEs. Moreover, a donor eNB can provide information regarding one or more core network bearers to a target donor eNB to facilitate establishing the core network bearers at the target donor eNB for communicating with the one or more UEs. Furthermore, uplink buffer contents from a relay eNB can be provided to a target donor eNB so communications from the one or more UEs can be continued by the target donor eNB.

摘要: A method and apparatus for wireless communications are provided. A first cell on which a user equipment (UE) is camped may be identified as a visited Public Land Mobile Network (VPLMN) of the UE. Information of a second cell among neighboring cells of the first cell may be received via a broadcast message from the first cell. The second cell may be part of a home PLMN (HPLMN) and the HPLMN may not be an equivalent PLMN (EPLMN) to the VPLMN associated with the first cell. Alternatively, the second cell may belong to an Equivalent HPLMN (EPLMN). When the second cell is determined to be a best cell according to absolute priority reselection rules or a highest ranked cell among the neighboring cells of the first cell, the second cell may not be barred for a period of time from being considered or identified as a candidate for reselection.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. One method may include a wireless communications device determining an inter-modulation distortion value between simultaneous communications on a first configuration of a first radio access network and a second configuration of a second radio access network, and dynamically switching between a non-standalone mode and a standalone mode of operation, based on the inter-modulation distortion value and a quality of service requirement for the standalone mode. The wireless communications device may also provide for time division multiplexing communications on a first RAT and a second RAT wherein only the first or second RAT is active during a period of time, and wherein the first RAT is an anchor for the second RAT.

摘要: Aspects of the disclosure relate to dual connectivity reporting. In one example, a dual connectivity communication is established, which includes a communication with a master node according to a first radio access technology (RAT), and a communication with a secondary node according to a second RAT. A change in measurement capability is then detected, and subsequently reported to the master node and/or secondary node. In another example, a scheduling entity establishes a first or second communication of a dual connectivity communication with a scheduled entity. The first communication is established according to a first RAT when operating as a master node, and the second communication is established according to a second RAT when operating as a secondary node. An indication is then received from the scheduled entity of a change in measurement capability, and the first and/or second communications are reconfigured in response to the change in measurement capability.
