    摘要: A laser light generating apparatus includes a laser light source, a phase-modulator, a signal generating unit configured to generate a modulation signal applied to the phase-modulator, a first external resonator, a second external resonator disposed at the stage succeeding the first external resonator, nonlinear optical elements each provided in the external resonators configured to implement wavelength conversion, an optical path length varying unit for varying the optical path length of each of the external resonators, and a control circuit having a negative feedback arrangement configured to obtain error signals for each of the external resonators, and configured to control the optical path length varying unit using the error signals according to FM sideband method. In the laser light generating apparatus, the external resonators are each held simultaneously in a resonance state by setting the frequency of the modulation signal and by controlling the optical path length of each of the external resonators.

The non-linear optical crystal for generating fifth harmonics additively mixes these incident waves for generating fifth harmonics. A time-averaged generated output of the second harmonics in the non-linear optical crystal for generating second harmonics is set to 50% to 70% or to 47% to 57% of a time-averaged output of the input wave incident on the non-linear optical crystal for generating second harmonics.

    摘要: A laser beam generating apparatus which is easy to manufacture and simple in adjusting operation. The laser beam generating apparatus comprises a light source having a narrow active layer for generating pumping laser beam, a laser medium for receiving the pumping laser beam to form a heat lens therein and generate a fundamental wave laser beam, a non-linear optical crystal element having a face inclined with respect to an optical axis of the fundamental wave laser beam for receiving the fundamental wave laser beam to generate secondary harmonic laser beam, a quarter wavelength plate for suppressing coupling between two polarization modes of the fundamental wave laser beam, and a pair of planar reflecting means for reflecting the fundamental wave laser beam back into the laser medium. The laser medium, non-linear optical crystal element, quarter length plate and planar reflecting means cooperate to constitute a light resonator. The optical axis of the pumping laser beam is adjusted in a direction perpendicular to the optical axis.

    摘要: An airbag rupturing groove forming apparatus forms an airbag rupturing groove excellent in invisibility even in a vehicular interior member having a hard substrate, while performing proper control of the thickness of the remainder of the airbag rupturing groove. A method also is provided for manufacturing the vehicular interior member. The airbag rupturing groove forming apparatus has a rupturing groove former for forming the airbag rupturing groove by protruding a metal blade at the back side of the vehicular interior member. First and second blade detectors confirm the presence or absence of the blade protruded into the vehicular interior member individually at detecting positions that are different in the thickness direction of the surface layer. An edge position deciding unit decides whether the blade is detected by the second blade detector, although the blade is not detected by the first blade detector.
