摘要: A conductive plastic molding obtained by melt molding an ethylene copolymer comprising from 40 to 90% by weight of an ethylene unit, from 10 to 60% by weight of at least one dialkylaminoalkylacrylamide comonomer unit represented by formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 each represents an alkyl group having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms; and n represents an integer of from 2 to 5, and up to 20% by weight of one or more ethylenically unsaturated comonomer units and having a number average molecular weight of from 5,000 to 50,000 and impregnating at least 10 parts by weight of an aqueous solution of at least one of an organic acid, an inorganic acid, and an inorganic metal salt into 100 parts by weight of the resulting melt molded. The molding exhibits excellent conductivity and can be obtained easily and at low cost without any limitation on shape.

摘要: High-Strength polypropylene fiber is obtained from polypropylene having incorporated therein from 0.05 to 10,000 ppm by weight of a vinylcycloalkane polymer. The disclosed fiber polypropylene has an intrinsic viscosity of from 0.5 to 2.5 dl/g as measured in a tetralin solution at 135.degree. C. and a ratio of weight average molecular weight to number average molecular weight of not more than 3.5/1.

摘要: It is possible to detect with high precision a plurality of types of nonuniformity defects that occur in patterns formed on the surface of an examination object. A device (10) for examination of nonuniformity defects that has a light source (12) for emitting light to a photomask 50 whose surface is provided with a repeating pattern (51) in which unit patterns (53) are arrayed in a regular fashion, and a photodetector (13) for photodetecting and converting into photodetection data scattered light from the photomask, so that the photodetection data is observed to detect nonuniformity defects that have occurred in the repeating pattern, in the device further having a wavelength filter (14) for selecting and extracting one or a plurality of desired wavelength bands from the light of a plurality of wavelength bands, wherein nonuniformity defects of the repeating pattern are detected using the selected and extracted light of the wavelength band.

摘要: A video encoding apparatus is provided with a resolution converting section, an encoding section, and a transmitting section. The resolution converting section enlarges or reduces a binary picture which represents the shape of an object. The encoding section encodes a binary picture reduced by the resolution converting section. The reduction ratio used by the resolution converting section is encoded, and the transmitting section transmits this encoded reduction ratio along with encoded data on the binary picture. The amount of encoded data produced from the encoding section is controlled by changing the enlargement/reduction ratio used by the resolution converting section.

摘要: A video encoding apparatus is provided with a resolution converting section, an encoding section, and a transmitting section. The resolution converting section enlarges or reduces a binary picture which represents the shape of an object. The encoding section encodes a binary picture reduced by the resolution converting section. 摘要: An image data coding system comprises a screen-area determining means for determining the area of a screen reproduced on the basis of an input image data; a code-amount assigning control means for controlling regions to which data on the screen are to be assigned and the code amount assigned to each of the regions, on the basis of the results determined on the area of the reproduced screen; and a coding means for coding the image data signal inputted in accordance with the code amount assigned to each of the regions.In an image data coding and/or decoding system, a coding system performs the two-dimensional orthogonal transform of picture signals of all the pixels with respect to inside blocks and of only picture signals of pixels contained in a content with respect to edge blocks, in accordance with a map signal indicative of the position and shape of the content, and it codes the map signal. A decoding system selects an orthogonal transform coefficient necessary to reproduce an image of a desired resolution, from coded orthogonal coefficients on the basis of a coded and resolution-transformed map signal, and it performs the two-dimensional inverse orthogonal transform of all the coefficients with respect to the inside blocks and of only the coefficients contained in the content with respect to the edge blocks, to derive a resolution-transformed regenerative signal.
