摘要: In a system for sealing a dummy bar head in a mould of a continuous casting plant for casting large-format preliminary sections, a flat gasket (6) to seal the gap between the dummy bar head and the mould is provided, which is held on a packing plate (7) contained on the dummy bar head. Said packing plate has approximately the cross-sectional shape of the mould profile and covers the flat gasket (6). The packing plate (7) is displaceable towards the centre of the mould by an amount which is a function of the conicity of the mould (3). To this end, it consists of two plate halves (7a, 7b) lying in one plane with respect to each other. This makes it possible, when inserting the dummy bar head, to compensate for the angled course of the mould with the contracting packing plate until the sealing gap between packing plate and mould remains uniform on all sides.

摘要: The invention relates to a method and a device for producing nitrogen fertilizer from organic waste products in the liquid phase (suspension, emulsion, solution) and for hygienizing the wastes or reducing the emissions by thermal treatment using mineral or organic additions. According to the invention, this is achieved by a method, wherein the waste product is heated at underpressure to temperatures between 40 and 90 ° C., the escaping gas containing carbon dioxide and ammonia is cooled down and introduced into an aqueous absorption agent, the nitrogen fertilizer formed thereby is discharged and the excess gas not having been absorbed and containing carbon dioxide is pumped back into the discharge container, wherein the underpressure generated at the beginning of the process by a vacuum pump is autogenously maintained by the progress of the process. Suitably, the return of the excess gas into the cycle is performed by either conducting it immediately above the waste product to be treated, or through a gas cooling system above the waste product to be treated, or dividing it and conducting a partial flow through the waste product and another partial flow above the waste product. Preferably, a gypsum suspension is used as an aqueous absorption agent.

摘要: A body of a motor vehicle, particularly a passenger car of the sports car type, equipped with a windshield frame, a rollover bar system and a removable roof covering an area between the windshield frame and the rollover bar system. The roof on one side follows a convex shaping course of the windshield frame and, on the other side, follows a shaping course of the rollover bar system such that, viewed in the longitudinal direction of the passenger car, the roof has two lateral roof sections and a center roof section which extends between the lateral roof sections in the manner of a crease-type indentation shaped in the direction of the vehicle occupant compartment.

摘要: A wireless ad hoc pico network is formed by eyewear and other devices such as a computer, a bracelet and a telephone having similar transceivers mounted on them. Master slave relationships are configurable. Other devices, such as a radio, a CD player, a hand held global positioning satellite system and a heart rate monitor, having similar transceivers, can also be connected with the transceiver of the eyewear. The transceivers operate on globally available, unlicensed radio band, 2.45 gigahertz (GHz) and conforms to the Bluetooth standard. The power consumption of Bluetooth enabled devices is less than three percent of the power consumption of a mobile phone. The eyewear includes a frame and connected to the frame are two temples. Temples are connected to frame via hinges. Temples have a male portion of a connector incorporated in them. Female portion of the connector is made integral with the hinges. When the male portion is inserted in the female portion the temple is attached to the frame. The temples can be removed by pulling the connector apart, and a temple with different apparatus within it can be inserted in place of the removed temples. The temple may have co-molded within its body, an apparatus such as an audio device, a camera, a speaker, and a microphone, and a display device such as liquid crystal or an alarm. In another embodiment, eyewear constitutes a distance alarm to monitor the movement of, for example, a child. A device in form of, for example, a bracelet is worn by the child. The transceivers in the eyewear and the bracelet form a small-range wireless network, i.e., piconet, wherein the eyewear and the bracelet communicate using signals conforming to the Bluetooth technology. The transceiver in the eyewear is configured to generate an alarm when the bracelet exceeds a predetermined distance from eyewear.

摘要: A device which can accurately detect even objects in very close proximity to a vehicle and at the same time can reliably detect more distant objects has means (MM) that can execute a selection of those reception pulses (EI) whose chronological offset in comparison to the respective transmission pulses (SI) emitted is of such a magnitude that these reception signals (EI) result exclusively from reflections against objects from a selected distance range correlating to the chronological offset. Means (DG) are also provided that permit the transmission pulse power to be increased and decreased as the distance range rises and falls.
