摘要: An improved bootstrap output circuit which can operate stably without being influenced by noise and voltage fluctuation of the substrate. A delay circuit includes a first MIS transistor having a gate receiving a first input signal, a drain connected to a power supply and a source connected to a first node. A second MIS transistor has a gate receiving a second input signal, a drain connected to the first node and a source connected to the ground potential. A third MIS transistor has a gate receiving the second input signal, a drain connected to the power supply and a source connected to a second node. A fourth MIS transistor has a gate connected to the first node, a drain connected to the second node and a source held at the ground potential. A fifth MIS transistor has a gate connected to the second node, a drain connected to the first node and a source connected to the first input signal. The delay circuit generates an output signal from the second node the level of which falls with a predetermined delay after the rise of the first input signal. A driver circuit including a bootstrap circuit makes use of the output at the second node for controlling the charge operation of the bootstrap capacitor.

摘要: It is aimed at providing a coating material composite capable of having a lower refractive index and keeping higher antiscratching property, antifouling property, chemical resistance, and anticrack property even when the coating material composite is used to form a coating on a malleable substrate such as plastic substrates and exposed to high temperatures upon formation of the coating and after formation of the coating. There is provided a coating material composite containing: a silane compound represented by the following general formula (A); and an epoxy group-containing organic compound containing one or more epoxy groups in each molecule; wherein the silane compound has a content of 60 to 97% by weight relative to a total amount of resin components; and wherein the epoxy group-containing organic compound has a content of 3 to 10% by weight relative to the total amount of resin components; XmR13−mSi—Y—SiR13−mXm  (A) [R1 is a monovalent hydrocarbon group having a carbon number of 1 to 6; Y is a divalent organic group containing one or more fluorine atoms; X is a hydrolytic group; and m is an integer of 1 to 3]. The coating formed by such a coating material composite is capable of keeping a higher anticrack property even upon exposure to high-temperature.

摘要: A liquid crystal display device of an in-plane switching mode comprises a pair of polarizing plates which are constituted with a polarizing plate at the output side comprising a polarizer at the output side and a polarizing plate at the incident side comprising a polarizer at the incident side having a transmission axis approximately perpendicular to a transmission axis of the polarizer at the output side and two or more sheets of optically anisotropic members and liquid crystal cells disposed between the pair of polarizing plates. In the optically anisotropic member, the sum of the major in-plane refractive indices is twice the sum of the major refractive index in the direction of thickness or smaller. The ratio of retardation of light incident at an angle inclined by 40 degrees with respect to the normal toward the major axis (R40) to the retardation of light incident perpendicularly (R0) is 0.90˜1.10. The device comprises a low refractive index layer which has a refractive index of 1.37 or smaller, comprises a cured coating film of silicone comprising hollow fine particles or porous fine particles and is disposed at the side of observation of the face of the protective film at the side of observation of the polarizer. The device exhibits excellent scratch resistance and excellent quality of black depth and uniform and high contrast in viewing at any angles.
