    摘要： An electro-optic effect based optical voltage transformer comprises an optical voltage sensor head and an electrical unit, wherein the electrical unit comprises an optical closed-loop feedback control unit and a signal processing unit, the optical closed-loop feedback control unit is connected to the optical voltage sensor head and the optical voltage sensor head is connected to the signal processing unit. In this invention, the light source output power is more stable, the light source center wavelength drift is effectively controlled and the output power coastdown caused by light source aging is prevented; the optical power fluctuation of the optical polarization caused by factors such as temperature, optical fiber vibration, etc., is eliminated, which is conductive to stability and reliability of the optical system; the accuracy of data is improved.

    摘要： A method for servoing when reading out a recorded holographic disk or recording in a preformatted disk includes detecting a primary signal of a reflected primary beam from a target data track of a target data layer of the disk, wherein the primary beam of radiation has a first wavelength; comparing a power measurement of the primary signal with a threshold value of power; detecting a tracking signal of a reflected tracking beam from a reference layer of the disk in an event that the power measurement of the primary signal is below the threshold value, wherein the tracking beam of radiation has a second wavelength; generating a servo error signal based upon the primary signal or the tracking signal; actuating an optical sub-system based upon either of the primary servo error signal or the tracking servo error signal such that the primary beam focuses on the target data layer.

    摘要： Provided are methods and systems of encoding and decoding techniques in an optical storage system having a multi-head detector. In one embodiment, source data may be encoded using error correction coding (e.g., turbo coding) techniques, and the encoded data may be interleaved and distributed to more than one detector head of the multi-head detector. Data recorded in an optical disc may be retrieved by the multi-head detector, and a read data from more than one detector head may be concurrently decoded to retrieve estimates of the original information in the source data. Further, more than one encoder/decoder may be used, and each encoder/decoder may encode or decode data from multiple data heads. Some embodiments also include replicating multiple discs.
