The present invention discloses a wind power prediction method for a single wind turbine generator, comprising: extracting a plurality of data fragments, each of which has a length of L, from a historical database to determine a feature fragment core library before a current time point T, wherein L is an integer greater than or equal to one; clustering the feature fragment core library to form w cluster subsets and w cluster centers with the adoption of a clustering algorithm, wherein w is an integer greater than or equal to one; and determining power P (T+1) at a time-point T+1 to be predicted according to the w cluster centers and a center of a current time fragment, the current time fragment representing a time period from time point T-Z to time point T, wherein Z is a step number and 1≦Z≦L.
Abstract:
Techniques for performing automatic gain control (AGC) at a terminal in a wireless communication network are described. In an aspect, the terminal may use different receiver gain settings to receive different types of signals in different time intervals. The terminal may determine a receiver gain setting for each signal type and may use the receiver gain setting to receive signals of that signal type. In another aspect, the terminal may determine a receiver gain setting for a future time interval based on received power levels for peer terminals expected to transmit in that time interval. The terminal may measure received power levels of signals received from a plurality of terminals. The terminal may determine a set of terminals expected to transmit in the future time interval and may determine the receiver gain setting for the future time interval based on the measured received power levels for the set of terminals.

A large number of passes of pump light through an active mirror in a solid state disk laser is realized using a pair of coupled imaging systems, where the optical axes of imaging systems are not coincident. Two imaging systems are optically coupled, so that an image of the first imaging system is an object of the second imaging system, and vice versa. An active mirror is disposed at the object or image plane, or at the focal plane of any one of the coupled imaging systems, where the position of the reflected pump beam during the multi-reflection between the first and second imaging systems is substantially unchanged.

Apparatuses and methods are provided for determining electrode impedances of a bioelectric signal-monitoring/recording system that includes an amplifier, and electrodes connected between a subject and the amplifier. An example apparatus includes: a voltage source outputting a voltage signal; a switching arrangement including an input electrically connected with the voltage source for receiving the voltage signal, an output electrically connected with the amplifier and the electrodes, and switches between the input and the output; and a controller in communication with the switches for opening and closing the switches to establish signal paths between the voltage source and the output, the controller calculating the electrode impedances relative to voltage outputs of the amplifier for each signal path.

A method and an apparatus for determining the configuration mode of special subframe of a cell are provided, and the method includes: receiving notification messages sent from adjacent cells, and the notification messages containing the information indicating the configuration modes of special subframes of the adjacent cells; determining the configuration modes of special subframes of the adjacent cells in accordance with the notification messages; among the possible configuration modes of special subframes of the current cell, selecting preferably a configuration mode of special subframe, which meets the interference requirement of the current cell and has less interference with the adjacent cells, as the current configuration mode of special subframe. The embodiments of the present invention also provide a method and an apparatus for determining the usage mode of the time-domain resource of a cell.

Ethylene and allyl- or vinylsilanes are efficiently copolymerized by certain late transition metal complexes containing selected bidentate or tridentate ligands. The resulting novel polymers may be crosslinked by moisture when vinylsilane contains groups bound to silicon which are hydrolyzable. The polymers are useful for wire coating, crosslinked foams, pipes, and other uses.

A technique for operating a wireless communications system that supports multi-user multiple-input multiple-output (MU-MIMO) communications between a base station and multiple mobile stations involves generating inter-cell interference information at the mobile stations and providing the inter-cell interference information to the base station. The base station uses the inter-cell interference information to calculate channel quality indicators (CQIs) and then makes scheduling decisions in response to the CQIs. Data is transmitted from the base station to the mobile stations according to the scheduling decisions.
