    摘要: A method for manufacturing a tire for vehicle wheels includes the steps of building a carcass structure, including at least one carcass ply associated with annular anchoring structures, on a forming support, building a belt structure in a radially outer position with respect to the carcass structure and building a tread band in a radially outer position with respect to the belt structure, wherein the at least one carcass ply, the annular anchoring structures and the belt structure each include at least one reinforcing element deposited in a radially outer position with respect to the forming support. The deposition of the at least one reinforcing element includes the steps of setting a first deposition path of the at least one reinforcing element on the forming support based upon a theoretical deposition profile; detecting the deviations between an actual deposition profile and the theoretical profile along the first deposition path, defining, based upon the deviations, an actual deposition path of the at least one reinforcing element on the forming support; and depositing the at least one reinforcing element on the forming support along the actual deposition path.

The belt cords 15 are arranged relatively densely on an inner side of the pattern-constituting unit 21 having a small pitch, and relatively thinly on an inner side of the pattern-constituting unit 21 having a large pitch.

Associated with the carcass ply (3) are annular structures (4) comprising a first and a second circumferentially inextensible annular inserts (27, 28) and an elastomer filling (29) interposed therebetween. A second carcass ply (31) is made in superposed position to the first carcass ply (3) and the annular structures (4). A belt structure (5), a tread band (8) and sidewalls (9) are combined with the carcass structure (2) thus formed, to define a tire (1) to be vulcanized.

    摘要: In forming a green tire by arranging a plurality of carcass cords on a support member and disposing bead cores, the carcass cords are precisely and accurately disposed at predetermined positions. A plurality of carcass cords (C) are arranged over the entire circumference of a core (21), and the ends thereof are attached to the end holding means (30) so that the ends are held at positions distant from each other axially outward of the core (21) in a stretched state between the core (21) and themselves. Bead cores (60) are moved from the outside of the carcass cords (C) toward bead molding portions (24) of the core (21), are brought into contact with the carcass cords (C) held at the ends, and are pressed against the core (21). This pressing force presses the carcass cords (C) in the traveling direction of the bead cores (60), displaces them toward the core (21) in a stretched state, sequentially disposes the carcass cords (C) on the side surfaces of the core (21), and disposes the bead cores (60) on the bead molding portions (24) with the carcass cords (C) therebetween.

The carcass structure includes at least one carcass ply including two lateral portions and a crown portion. The at least one carcass ply comprises elongated elements arranged in a substantially U-shaped configuration around a profile of a cross-section of the tyre. A density of the elongated elements is greater in the lateral portions than in the crown portion. The density of the elongated elements increases continuously and regularly in end zones of the lateral portions in directions away from the crown portion. A shape of a cross-section of each elongated element is constant. A method for forming the tyre includes preparing a plurality of strip elements, constricting end zones of each strip element, and laying the strip elements with constricted end zones on a toroidal support.
