    摘要: A first transport mechanism which unwinds the cable from a drum and which transports the cable in the direction of its longitudinal axis is provided. A second transport mechanism comprises two belt drives, disposed successively as seen in the direction of the cable, which transport the cable perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the cable to the individual stations processing the cable ends. Upon advancing through the first transport mechanism, the cable is fed into a guide channel which is formed by a groove and by a ledge bar, where the groove is covered like two lips toward the second transport mechanism by two spring plates. Two separately controllable sliders engage the guide channel from the rear side, which sliders press the end of the cut-to-length cable section between the lip-shaped spring sheet metal sections into the belt drives. Advantageously, a guide sleeve is disposed between the first transport mechanism and a cutting provision. The guide sleeve can be tilted along with the slider and the cable to be cut to length can be placed on the fixed position part of the knives of the cutting provision. When the slider returns, the guide sleeve is also returned into the starting position.

    摘要: A waste binding yarn take-up device for a shuttleless loom, comprises a traction device for pulling waste binding yarns at a constant traction speed, a rotary traverse roller rotatable at a peripheral velocity slightly higher than the traction speed of the traction device, and formed at its outer surface with a guide groove along which the waste binding yarns from the traction device is guided to make traverse motion thereof, and a rotatable core member on which a cheese of the waste binding yarns from the traverse roller is capable of being formed, the core member being biased so that the outer surface of the cheese contacts the outer surface of the traverse roller, thereby wounding up the waste binding yarns on the core member, holding in tension the waste binding yarns without causing the slackening of the waste binding yarns.

    摘要: A rope pulling device which is compact in size which includes a housing adapted to be fixed to an exterior object. A rope is to be physically placed between a pair of cog wheels which are biased into continuous contact with the rope surface. Each of the cog wheels are operatively driven by separate driven gears with each driven gear being rotatably mounted on a plate. Each of the plates are interconnected to move together to mirror image angular positions through a cam means. Each of the plates are also pivotally mounted upon the housing. A handle means is rotationally mounted upon the housing and is operatively connected to drive a drive gear which, in turn, is operatively connected to drive each of the driven gears in the same direction of rotation at the same angular velocity. Upon operation of the handle means, the driven gears are rotated simultaneously which causes linear movement of a rope placed therebetween with respect to the housing.

    摘要: This invention is concerned with apparatus for manufacturing spirally wound gaskets. The apparatus includes a pair of co-planar radially movable forming discs and independently mounted and axially adjustable guide members. The apparatus may be used either for winding gasket forming material tightly around one forming disc, or adapted for centerless winding where gasket forming material is wound in a loop around one forming disc. Where thin, wide-flanged gaskets are to be wound, the forming disc which abuts the outer periphery of the gasket is shaped so as not substantially to curve gasket forming material in the direction away from the gasket periphery and thus produce stress in the gasket. Where the apparatus is designed for centerless winding, a template adapted to be disposed between the forming discs to move in conjunction with gasket forming material may be provided, particularly for forming non-circular gaskets.
