摘要: A method and apparatus are provided for dynamic resource allocation, scheduling and signaling for variable data real time services (RTS) in long term evolution (LTE) systems. Preferably, changes in data rate for uplink RTS traffic are reported to an evolved Node B (eNB) by a UE using layer 1, 2 or 3 signaling. The eNB dynamically allocates physical resources in response to a change in data rate by adding or removing radio blocks currently assigned to the data flow, and the eNB signals the new resource assignment to the UE. In an alternate embodiment, tables stored at the eNB and the UE describe mappings of RTS data rates to physical resources under certain channel conditions, such that the UE uses the table to locally assign physical resources according to changes in UL data rates. Additionally, a method and apparatus for high level configuration of RTS data flows is also presented.

摘要: An architecture, for a cellular communications system, is described herein in which a “bearer-less” model is used for both the radio interface and the network core. Instead of using an individual Layer 2 bearer for each Quality of Service (QoS) class, in the architecture described herein, a common Layer 2 connection (e.g., a Layer 2 “fat pipe”) may be used to handle traffic flows between a User Equipment (UE) device and an external Packet Data Network (PDN). Additionally, a bearer-less architecture may be used in the radio interface (i.e., between User Equipment (UE) and the eNB).

摘要: Provided are an apparatus and a method for allocating a bandwidth for providing a low-latency fronthaul service in a passive optical network. An bandwidth allocating method performed by a bandwidth allocating apparatus included in an OLT includes receiving an actual report message requesting bandwidth allocation from at least one ONU for wired subscribers connected to the OLT, receiving radio scheduling information for at least one ONU for mobile connected to the OLT from a central unit (CU)/digital unit (DU), generating a virtual report message using the radio scheduling information received from the CU/DU, allocating a transmission bandwidth for the at least one ONU for wired subscribers and the at least one ONU for mobile through the received actual report message and the generated virtual report message, and transmitting the allocated transmission bandwidth to the ONU for wired subscribers and the ONU for mobile using a grant message.

摘要: The present invention relates to a relay device based on multi-path scheduling, at least comprising: at least one communication-receiving module, at least one hardware interface module, and at least one data-processing module, wherein the data-processing module, according to a specific type of target data, distributes the user data received through the communication-receiving module to a first processing path that processes the data in a predetermined manner and a second processing path that is independent of the first processing path and bypasses a kernel protocol stack. The data-processing module employs a multi-stage continuous scheduling manner to drive the user data in the second processing path to be transmitted in at least two mutually independent communication paths, thereby realizing multi-path transmission between the plural clients and the plural servers. This configuration not only lifts the logic of packet scheduling to the application layer, but also ensures path quality, QoE, and fairness while maintaining the multi-connection, multi-path, application-independent nature.

摘要: Disclosed herein includes a system, a method, and a device for providing latency sensitive links. A wireless device can receive, from a wireless node, an advertisement message indicating a set of wireless local area network (WLAN) links that support one or more defined latency requirements, a capability of the wireless node to support the set of WLAN links, a plurality of parameters, an operating mode, and a status for the set of WLAN links. The wireless device can send, to the wireless node responsive to the advertisement message, a request to access a first link of the set of WLAN links. The request can indicate a capability of the wireless device to interoperate with the wireless node to use the first link. The wireless device can access the first link of the set of WLAN links if the wireless node accepts the request to access the first link.

The UE may perform an action based at least in part on identifying the communication collision. Numerous other aspects are provided.

摘要: The disclosure provides various methods for time-aware scheduling of time-sensitive network (TSN) streams in 5G networks. One method, performed in a core network associated with a radio access network (RAN), is for scheduling resources in the RAN according to a transmission schedule associated with an external network. The method comprises receiving (1210), from the external network, a transmission schedule associated with a time-sensitive data stream and sending (1220), to the RAN, a request to allocate radio resources for communication of the data stream between the RAN and a user equipment (UE). The request further comprises information related to the transmission schedule. The method also comprises receiving (1230), from the RAN, a response indicating whether radio resources can be allocated to meet the transmission schedule associated with the data stream.
