Abstract: A video deblurring method based on a layered blur model includes estimating a latent image, an object motion and a mask for each layer in each frame using images consisting of a combination of layers during an exposure time of a camera when receiving a blurred video frame, applying the estimated latent image, object motion and mask for each layer in each frame to the layered blur model to generate a blurry frame, comparing the generated blurry frame and the received blurred video frame, and outputting a final latent image based on the estimated object motion and mask for each layer in each frame, when the generated blurry frame and the received blurred video frame match. Accordingly, by modeling a blurred image as an overlap of images consisting of a combination of foreground and background during exposure, more accurate deblurring results at object boundaries can be obtained.

Abstract: A human-following robot for searching a following target when failing to track the following target includes a location estimating module configured to estimate a location of the following target based on map information and trajectory information, a search range setting module configured to set a search range of the following target based on the estimated location information and human walking pattern information, and tracking module configured to track the following target after moving to the search range. Since the robot estimates a location of a missed following target and the moves to the estimated location by utilizing map information and human walking pattern information including walking pattern data of persons in a surrounding environment, which is accumulated during a predetermined period, the following target may be detected again.

Abstract: Metal nanowires with high linearity can be produced using metal salts at a relatively low temperature. A transparent conductive film can be formed using the metal nanowires. Particularly, the transparent conductive film has high transmittance, low sheet resistance, and good thermal, chemical and mechanical stability. The transparent conductive film has a high electrical conductivity due to the high linearity of the metal nanowires. The metal nanowires take up 5% or less of the volume of the transparent conductive film, ensuring high transmittance of the transparent conductive film. Furthermore, the metal nanowires are useful as replacements for existing conductive materials, such as ITO, conductive polymers, carbon nanotubes and graphene. The metal nanowires can be applied to flexible substrates and other various substrates due to their good adhesion and high applicability to the substrates. Moreover, the metal nanowires can find application in various fields, such as displays and solar cell devices.
