Abstract: Example implementation relates to a method for establishing a dynamic VPN tunnel between branch gateway devices based on metric data. A branch orchestrator receives metric data from VPNC device. The metric data includes data center bandwidth and processor utilization of the VPNC device. The metric data is derived from the traffic being routed via the VPNC device. When the metric data associated with traffic between a first branch gateway device and a second branch gateway device is above a Service Level Agreement (SLA), a dynamic branch to branch VPN tunnel is established to route the traffic between the first branch gateway device and the second branch gateway device. The VPN tunnel between the branch gateways can be teared when the load at the VPNC device reduces.

Abstract: Systems and methods of automating the generation of a logical model defining one or more tables of a data source are provided. The logical model definitions of the tables can be exposed to a platform that can access and obtain data from multiple heterogeneous data sources based on a unified and normalized format. Tables of a data source can be analyzed to determine key characteristics, and based on the key characteristics, converted into dimension and fact table representations, objects, and operations that comport with the unified and normalized format. Default rules for generating the dimension and fact table representations, objects, and operations can be followed, or user-defined customizations can be implemented.

Abstract: Example implementations relate to an inspection method for training a measurement machine to accurately measure side joint lengths and detecting a defect among a plurality of solder joints. The method includes receiving a first data representing the side joint lengths of the plurality of solder joints measured by a first measurement machine and a second data representing the side joint lengths measured by a second measurement machine. Further, the method includes determining a correlation value based on a statistical analysis of a relationship between the first data and the second data. The method further includes updating an algorithm used by the first measurement machine to measure the side joint lengths, based on the correlation value to reduce deviation between the first data and the second data. Later, the updated algorithm is used as a dimensional metrology in the first measurement machine for detecting the defect in the solder joints.

Abstract: Coupled-cavity vertical cavity surface emitting lasers (VCSELs) are provided by the present disclosure. The coupled-cavity VCSEL can comprise a VCSEL having a first mirror, a gain medium disposed above the first mirror, and a second mirror disposed above the gain medium, wherein a first cavity is formed by the first mirror and the second mirror. A second cavity is optically coupled to the VCSEL and configured to reflect light emitted from the VCSEL back into the first cavity of the VCSEL. In some embodiments, the second cavity can be an external cavity optically coupled to the VCSEL through a coupling component. In some embodiments, the second cavity can be integrated with the VCSEL to form a monolithic coupled-cavity VCSEL. A feedback circuit can control operation of the coupled-cavity VCSEL so the output comprises a target high frequency signal.

Abstract: In one example, a device to process analog sensor data is described. For example, a device may include at least one analog sensor to generate a first set of analog voltage signals and a crossbar array including a plurality of memristors. In one example, the crossbar array is to receive an input vector of the first set of analog voltage signals, generate an output vector comprising a second set of analog voltage signals that is based upon a dot product of the input vector and a matrix comprising resistance values of the plurality of memristors, detect a pattern of the output vector, and activate a processor upon a detection of the pattern.
