    摘要: A system generating a web page portal customized for a particular requesting mobile device is disclosed. The system includes an information store having multiple groups, each associated with device qualifications, web-design characteristics, and device identifications. The system also includes a custom web page development database (CWDD) including a plurality of web page component modules storing forms of web page components, and a custom web page development server (CWDS). The CWDS (i) receives an incoming request for a web page from the particular requesting mobile device, (ii) identifies a device type, and (iv) determines an applicable group. The CWDS also (v) obtains web-design characteristics from the applicable group, (vi) accesses the CWDD and obtains applicable web page components based on the web-design characteristics obtained from the applicable group of the information store, and (vii) generates the custom web page portal using the applicable web page components obtained from the CWDD.

    摘要: A method, for controlling direction of a vehicle as desired in connection with operation of an autonomous driving maneuver using selectively, independently and/or in combination, multiple electrical park brakes (EPBs) and multiple hydraulic brakes (HBs). The method includes determining a total brake force needed for redirecting the vehicle in a pre-determined manner, and determining whether an applicable EPB can provide the total brake force needed. The method further includes providing, if it is determined that the applicable EPB can provide the total brake force needed, a brake command instructing the applicable EPB to apply the total brake force. The method also includes determining, if it is determined that the EPB is alone insufficient, an optimal fusion of the EPBs and the HBs, including two front and two rear HBs, two rear EPBs, and in some embodiments, also two front EPBs.

    摘要: Disclosed is an apparatus for measuring the absorbance of a substance in a solution, comprising: i) a sample cell (30) of known path length (b) for containing said solution (S), said cell being transparent to light of a predefined wavelength spectrum; ii) plural LED's each being independently operable by means of a controller (25) each for emitting light, within said predefined wavelength spectrum, along a light path; iii) a band pass filter (22) in the light path; iv) a beam splitter (24) for dividing light from said source propagating along the path into a first portion and a second portion, said first portion being directable by the beam splitter toward a reference detector (42) and said second portion being directable into the cell (30); v) a reference detector (42) for detecting the intensity of said first portion of light directed by said beam splitter; and vi) a sample detector (40) for detecting the intensity of the second portion propagating from the cell; the apparatus allowing a sample in the cell to be inexpensively subjected to more than one wavelength of light for quicker or more accurate analysis.
