摘要: Reversible watermarking methods enable auxiliary data to be embedded in data sets, such as images, audio, video and software. The reversible nature of the method enables the original data set to be perfectly restored. Control systems with feedback loops are used to optimize embedding based on distortion or auxiliary data capacity constraints. The watermarking may be applied recursively to embed several layers, where subsequent layers are embedded into a previously watermarked data set. To recover the original data, each layer is extracted and the data restored in reverse order of the embedding. Sets of elements that are expanded to carry auxiliary data in each layer overlap or are interleaved to maximize embedding capacity or quality of the host data.

摘要: Method employing a supported metallocene catalyst composition in the production of an isotactic ethylene propylene co-polymer. The composition comprises a metallocene component supported on a particulate silica support having average particle size of 10-40 microns, a pore volume of 1.3-1.6 ml/g, a surface area of 200-400 m 2/g. An alkylalumoxane cocatalyst component is incorporated on the support. The isospecific metallocene is characterized by the formula: B(CpRaRb)(FlR′2)MQn   (1) or by the formula: B′(Cp′R′aR′b)(Fl′)M′Q′n′   (2) In the formulas Cp and Cp′ are substituted cyclopentadienyl groups, Fl and Fl′ are fluorenyl groups, and B and B′ are structural bridges. R′ are substituents at the 2 and 7 positions, Ra and R′a are substituents distal to the bridge, and Rb and R′b are proximal to the bridge. M and M′ are transition metals, Q′ is a halogen or a C1-C4 alkyl group; and n′ is an integer of from 0-4.

摘要: There is disclosed a process for performing an isolated Pd(0) catalyzed reaction electrochemically on an electrode array device. Specifically, there is disclosed a process for conducting an isolated Pd(0) catalyzed reaction on a plurality of electrodes, comprising providing an electrode array device having a matrix or coating material over metallic or conductive electrodes surfaces and a plurality of electrodes; providing a solution bathing the electrode array device, wherein the solution comprises a transition metal catalyst and a confining agent; and biasing one or a plurality of electrodes on the electrode array device with a voltage or current to regenerate the transition metal catalyst required for the isolated Pd(0) catalyzed reaction, whereby the confining agent limits diffusion of the transition metal catalyst to a volume surrounding each selected electrode surface.

摘要: The ability to remove a watermark from an encoded image opens the possibility of various novel applications. Several such applications are detailed. One employs a reversible watermark in conjunction with a second (robust) watermark. In this arrangement, the payload of the reversible watermark conveys information about the robust watermark (e.g., encoding parameters, or an error signal), permitting removal of the robust watermark from an uncorrupted encoded image. By such arrangements, the encoded image can be fully restored to its pristine, unencoded state even if several different watermarks have been applied.
