    Abstract: An antenna device includes a ground plate, a patch portion disposed parallel to the ground plate with a particular spacing, a plurality of short circuit portions that electrically connect the patch portion to the ground plate, and a loop portion which is a loop shaped conductor member at a particular spacing from an outer edge portion of the patch portion. The patch portion has an area which forms an electrostatic capacitance that causes parallel resonance with an inductance provided by the short circuit portions at a particular target frequency. The loop portion is formed with a perimeter length which is an integral multiple of the wavelength of radio waves at the target frequency. A feed point is disposed on the loop portion, and current is supplied to the patch portion through the loop portion.

    Abstract: A film formation apparatus configured to supply mist of a solution to a substrate to epitaxially grow a film on the substrate and including: a furnace housing the substrate; a mist generation tank configured to generate the mist therein; a mist supply path connecting the tank and furnace; a carrier gas supply path configured to supply carrier gas into the tank; a diluent gas supply path configured to supply diluent gas into the mist supply path; and a gas flow rate controller configured to control flow rates of the carrier and diluent gas. The mist in the tank flows to the mist supply path with the carrier gas, the mist in the mist supply path flows to the furnace with the carrier and diluent gas, and the controller is configured to decrease the flow rate of the diluent gas when increasing the flow rate of the carrier gas.

    Abstract: A photocatalyst material and a photocatalyst device capable of generating hydrogen from water by radiation of sunlight at high efficiency. The photocatalyst material according to the present invention includes a nitride-based compound semiconductor obtained by replacement of part of Ga and/or Al by a 3d-transition metal. The nitride-based compound semiconductor has one or more impurity bands. A light absorption coefficient of the nitride-based compound semiconductor is 1,000 cm−1 or more in an entire wavelength region of 1,500 nm or less and 300 nm or more. Further, the photocatalyst material satisfies the following conditions: the energy level of the bottom of the conduction band is more negative than the redox potential of H+/H2; the energy level of the top of the valence band is more positive than the redox potential of O2/H2O; and there is no or little degradation of a material even when the material is irradiated with light underwater.
