    Abstract: System and method for editing a graphical diagram. A graphical diagram, such as a graphical program, is displayed on a display device. User input may be received editing the graphical diagram, thereby generating an edited graphical diagram. Placement of one or more elements in the graphical diagram may be adjusted in response to the editing based on determined forces applied to the one or more elements in the edited graphical diagram based on the said editing, resulting in an adjusted edited graphical diagram. The adjusted edited graphical diagram may be displayed on the display device, which may include displaying an animation illustrating the movement of the elements to an equilibrium state in which the forces balance and movement ceases. The editing, adjusting, and displaying may be performed sequentially and/or concurrently, as desired.

    Abstract: System and method for performing correlation analysis. A program that includes multiple program structures and one or more data objects is stored. Each data object is shared by at least two of the program structures. For each program structure, decomposition effects on each of the data objects shared by the program structure resulting from each of a respective one or more optimizing transforms applied to the program structure are analyzed. One or more groups of correlated structures are determined based on the analyzing. Each group includes two or more program structures that share at least one data object, and at least one optimizing transform that is compatible with respect to the two or more program structures and the shared data object. For at least one group, the at least one optimizing transform is usable to transform the two or more program structures to meet a specified optimization objective.

    Abstract: Right angle transition to circuit. A system includes a conductive plate, coaxial transmission line, a circuit, parallel to the conductive plate, and a right angle transition from the coaxial transmission line to the circuit. The transmission line includes a center pin protruding through a hole in the plate, an outer conductor formed by a conductive surface of the hole, and air dielectric between. The circuit includes a top conducting layer (TCL), ground plane with cutout, and an insulating substrate between the TCL and ground plane that abuts the pin. The transition includes the pin, a conductive element connecting the center pin to the TCL, the outer conductor, the air dielectric, the abutment of the substrate against the pin, and the cutout. The abutment and cutout minimize manufacturing variations regarding distance between the pin and the ground plane. The transition tunes out inductance introduced by bonding the pin to the TCL.

    Abstract: A fan noise suppression circuit may be coupled between a power source and a power input to at least one fan. The fan noise suppression circuit may include an adjustable current source coupled to the power source. The adjustable current source may provide a voltage output and a current output based on a power output of the power source. The fan noise suppression circuit may include a feedback controller coupled to an output of the adjustable current source.     Abstract: A source-measure unit (SMU) may be implemented with digital control loops and circuitry to digitally compensate for the impact of input bias current on current measurements. One or more buffers having well-defined characteristics with respect to certain parameters which may affect the current measurements may be used in the output signal path of the SMU where a shunt voltage developed across a current sense element is measured. For example, the buffers may conduct/develop respective input bias currents that change perceptibly and predictably with temperature. By measuring the temperature and adjusting a control voltage—which is used to develop the shunt voltage—according to the temperature measurements, the impact of the input bias current[s] on the current measurement[s] may be reduced to negligible levels and/or may be eliminated. The control voltage may be adjusted by adjusting a voltage feedback value representative of the measured shunt voltage, and/or by adjusting a current setpoint used for generating the control voltage.

    Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to massive MIMO communications. In some embodiments, a base station is configured to dynamically adjust the number of processing elements used for MIMO signal estimation (e.g., the number of MIMO RX chains used for parallel processing). In some embodiments, the number of processing elements may be based on the number of antennas currently being used, the number of spatial streams, interconnect throughput thresholds, sampling rate, etc. In some embodiments, the base station includes configurable MIMO cores configured to dynamically switch between MIMO signal estimation techniques, e.g., on a per-symbol basis. In some embodiments, the base station includes configurable linear decoders configured to separately multiply input matrices and combine or refrain from combining the results based on the number of antennas and/or processing elements currently in use.

    Abstract: System and method for rendering data with specified constraints. A request for data from a data set may be received. The data set may include time-stamped historical data, including multiple reduced data sets, each having a respective resolution. The request may specify a time frame. A first reduced data set of the reduced data sets may be determined based on the specified time frame. First data from the first reduced data set corresponding to the specified time frame may be retrieved, and are usable for display on a display device. The data set may be generated from received raw data, where the raw data includes time-stamped historical data at a first resolution. The raw data may be reduced via multiple stages, thereby generating the reduced data sets at their respective resolutions. The reduced data are generated and represented in a way that is visually pleasing and technically accurate.
