Abstract: A fiber placement device includes an accumulation portion that stores and discharges a reinforcing fiber bundle including: a movable roller guided by a guide mechanism able to be moved in a constant movable range; a cylinder; a piston arranged within the cylinder; a coupling member coupling the movable roller and the piston; and an adjustment portion adjusting a force applied to the piston within the cylinder by discharging fluid from a space with the cylinder sealed on a side opposite the coupling member with respect to the piston within the cylinder or supplying the fluid into the space, the fluid is discharged from the space within the cylinder to apply a force to the piston to move the piston, a force is also applied to the movable roller through the coupling member to move the movable roller and thus a tension is applied to the reinforcing fiber bundle.

Abstract: A multilayer laminated film and a projected image display member are provided that are capable of reducing a luminance difference in an image due to a difference in projection angle when used in a projection member of an augmented reality device or the like, where the multilayer laminated film is obtained by alternately laminating 51 layers or more of a plurality of different thermoplastic resin layers, in which a transmittance of visible light perpendicularly incident on a surface of the multilayer laminated film is 50% or more and 100% or less, and when average reflectances of P-polarized wave at the time of visible light being incident on the surface of the multilayer laminated film are denoted as Rp20 (%), Rp30 (%), Rp40 (%), Rp50 (%), Rp60 (%), and Rp70 (%).

Abstract: Conventional porous membranes have a mesh structure having a relatively large pore diameter in order to improve the removability of a relatively large component such as a virus. When a contaminative liquid to be filtered is filtered, contaminants are easily accumulated in the porous membranes, clogging or the like occurs in the porous membranes, and contamination of the porous membranes easily occurs. Accordingly, an object is to provide a porous membrane having high contamination resistance and high-precision removability. To achieve the object, provided is a porous membrane including, in at least one surface, a surface portion spanning 10 μm in thickness from the surface, being denser than an inner portion, and having a removal rate T of dextran having a weight-average molecular weight of 40,000 Da of 60 to 95%, in which a number of surface pores per unit area observed on the surface of the surface portion is 200 pores/μm2 to 2,000 pores/μm2.

Abstract: The present invention addresses the problem of providing a laminated film that has further uniform properties regarding optical characteristics and the like, and that can maintain said properties for a further extended period of time. This laminated film is characterized by comprising two or more different types of thermoplastic resin layers and is characterized in that, when ratios of interface layer thicknesses analyzed through GCIB-TOF-SIMS with respect to the film thickness are calculated in all types of interfaces formed by the different thermoplastic resin layers, the lowest value thereof is 1.0×10−4−1.0×10−2.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing a membrane-electrode assembly including an electrolyte membrane and a catalyst layer-formed gas diffusion layer bonded to the electrolyte membrane, the method including: a liquid application step of applying, in the atmosphere, a liquid to only a surface of the catalyst layer before bonding; and a thermocompression bonding step of bonding, to the electrolyte membrane, the catalyst layer-formed gas diffusion layer to which the liquid is applied, by thermocompression bonding. Provided is a method of manufacturing a membrane-electrode assembly including a polymer electrolyte membrane and a catalyst layer-formed gas diffusion layer bonded to the polymer electrolyte membrane, in which the manufacturing method can achieve both the relaxation of thermocompression bonding conditions and the improvement of adhesion between the catalyst layer-formed gas diffusion layer and the electrolyte membrane with high productivity.
