    摘要: In one example, an apparatus for mounting accessories on a rifle includes a base that is mountable to a rifle, an accessory mounting bracket that is L-shaped, the accessory mounting bracket comprising an accessory mounting leg and a depth positioning leg. The depth positioning leg may include a plurality of attachment features disposed along a length thereof that enable attaching the depth positioning leg to the base at a plurality of depth positions. The accessory mounting leg may include a slot for mounting a photographic device at any lateral position within a lateral positioning range (e.g., 3 inches). In some embodiments, the base is mountable to both the left side and the right side of the rifle and the accessory mounting bracket is attachable to the base (on either side of the rifle) at each depth position for any of four orientations.

    摘要: An apparatus for teaching statistics concepts includes a simulation module that generates a simulation of subject elements moving from a first portion of a simulated space to a second portion of the simulated space, where the simulated space has a treatment path and a non-treatment path. A propensity module utilizes one or more propensity inputs to the simulation module to affect a propensity of the subject elements to move on the treatment path to have treatment functions applied. A treatment module applies the treatment functions to the subject elements moving on the treatment path, where the treatment functions are configured to affect at least one output measure of the subject elements. A display module displays the simulation of the subject elements having the propensity inputs applied, application of the treatment functions, and the at least one output measure.

    摘要: An apparatus, system, program product, and method are disclosed for a compact immersion scanning system. An apparatus includes an XY scanning mechanism, a first transducer configured to transmit a sound wave, a second transducer configured to receive the sound wave, and a tray configured to hold a material. The tray is coupled to the XY scanning mechanism and located beneath the first transducer and the second transducer is located on a bottom side of the tray below the material. The tray is moved in an XY pattern along an X axis and a Y axis in response to an XY scanning mechanism controller mechanically moving the XY scanning mechanism while the first transducer is positioned in a stationary location along a vertical axis perpendicular to the tray. The first transducer transmits sound waves into the material and the second transmitter receives the transmitted sound waves at each XY position.
