Abstract:

The semiconductor memory device includes: a die in which a plurality of internal circuits are integrated; a plurality of first and second channel pads having a first pad size and a first pad pitch, disposed in an alternating manner in a straight line at a center part of the die, and divided into a plurality of parallel rows, wherein the plurality of first and second channel pads are configured to selectively contact test probes in an alternating manner to receive an external wafer test signal and to output a signal generated by the plurality of internal circuits to the exterior. Therefore, it is possible to perform a test using plural channel pads during a wafer test of the semiconductor memory device using a plurality of probes of a probe card without incorrect contacts or non-contact with adjacent pads.

A multi-port memory device includes a refresh register and a refresh controller for preventing refresh starvation in a shared memory unit of the memory device. The memory device further includes a plurality of ports sharing access to the shared memory unit. The refresh register stores information regarding at least one refresh command. The refresh controller determines whether to activate an internal refresh operation at a transition in port authority according to such information stored in the refresh register.
Abstract:
A multipath accessible semiconductor memory device having a mailbox area and a mailbox access control method thereof are provided. The semiconductor memory device includes N number of ports, at least one shared memory area allocated in a memory cell array, and N number of mailbox areas for message communication. The at least one shared memory area is operationally connected to the N number of ports, and is accessible through a plurality of data input/output lines to form a data access path between the at least one shared memory area and one port, having an access right to the at least one memory area, among the N number of ports. The N number of mailbox areas are provided in one-to-one correspondence with the N number of ports and are accessible through the plurality of data input/output lines when an address of a predetermined area of the at least one shared memory area is applied to the semiconductor memory device. An efficient layout of mailboxes and an efficient message access path can be obtained.
Abstract:
An electronic programming guide (EPG) providing apparatus and method, in which an EPG is configured as a 3D form to facilitate a search for broadcasting program information included in the EPG. The EPG providing apparatus includes an EPG screen configuring unit and a control unit. The EPG screen configuring unit configures an EPG screen such that broadcasting program information is displayed on at least three faces of a 3D polyhedron. The control unit controls the EPG screen configuring unit to configure the EPG screen such that broadcasting program information corresponding to another broadcasting time zone or another broadcasting channel is displayed on the EPG screen based on a user input signal requesting a search for the broadcasting program information corresponding to another broadcasting time zone or another broadcasting channel.
Abstract:
A temperature sensor can linearly adjust sensed temperature. The temperature sensor includes: a current generation circuit which generates a proportional-to-absolute temperature (PTAT) current and a conversely-proportional-to-absolute temperature (CTAT) current; and a temperature sensing unit which compares the PTAT current with the CTAT current, senses a temperature at which the PTAT current and the CTAT current are equal, increases the sensed temperature by reducing the PTAT current in response to a first control signal for controlling the sensed temperature to increase, decreases the sensed temperature by increasing the PTAT current in response to a second control signal for controlling the sensed temperature to decrease, and determines an adjustment amount of the sensed temperature which is increased or decreased in response to a third control signal for indicating the adjustment amount.
