    摘要: Disclosed herein are salicylic acid copolymers having a weight average molecular weight of 500-10,000 and obtained (a) by condensing salicylic acid (i) with a benzyl alcohol (ii) and/or benzyl ether (iii) or a benzyl halide (iv) in the presence of an acid catalyst or (b) by reacting a co-condensation resin of (i) and (ii) and/or (iii) with (iv) or (c) by reacting a co-condensation resin of (i) and (ii) and/or (iii) or (iv) with a styrene derivative in the presence of an acid catalyst; multivalent metal salts of the salicylic acid copolymers; color-developing agents comprising the multivalent metal salts; and color-developing sheets suited for pressure-sensitive copying paper and comprising the color-developing agents. Their production processes are also disclosed.

    摘要: When obtaining microcapsules by covering a hydrophobic material with an aminoaldehyde polycondensation product as a wall-forming material in an acidic aqueous medium containing an anionic water-soluble polymer, a microcapsule slurry having a high solid content and low viscosity can be obtained by using as the anionic water-soluble polymer a multi-component copolymer consisting as essential monomer components thereof of at least three types of acrylic monomers selected respectively from (A) acrylic acid and/or methacrylic acid, (B) acrylonitrile and/or methacrylonitrile and (C) an acrylamidoalkylsulfonic acid and/or sulfoalkyl acrylate. Over a wide pH range, the microcapsule slurry obtained in accordance with this invention undergoes little viscosity changes and exhibits neither destruction of its dispersed state nor coagulating tendency. Resulting microcapsules have a sharp particle size distribution and are equipped with dense wall films.

    摘要: A locking devices may include a striker and a locking mechanism. The locking mechanism may include a base plate having a slot that can receive the striker, a latch rotatably attached to the base plate, a pawl rotatably attached to the base plate, and a cam member rotatably attached to the base plate. The locking mechanism includes a force transmitting path for transmitting a force that urges the locking mechanism in a locking condition to be disengaged from the striker. The force transmitting path passes through the cam member and includes a force interrupting portion positioned therein. The force interrupting portion is arranged and constructed to interrupt the force transmitting path when the force exceeds a predetermined value.
