Abstract: Medical devices and methods of using medical devices are disclosed. An example tissue retraction delivery device includes a positioning assembly, the assembly including: a delivery catheter having a distal end region and a lumen extending therein, wherein the distal end region includes an engagement member orienting tip. The delivery device also includes an actuation catheter extending within at least a portion of the delivery catheter, the actuation catheter including a distal end region and a lumen extending therein. An actuation wire extends within the lumen of the actuation catheter, the actuation wire having a proximal end region and a distal end region. An end effector is coupled to the distal end region of the actuation wire, the end effector configured to capture an engagement member of a tissue retraction device, wherein manipulation of the actuation wire shifts the end effector from a first position to a second closed position.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates generally to ligators, actuation devices, and methods for deploying ligation bands around a portion of tissue, utilizing an endoscope for suction, visualization, and support. In some embodiments, a ligator may include an elongate member having a lumen, and a ligating band dispenser extending from a distal end of the elongate member. The ligating band dispenser may include a cap and at least one ligating band on the cap. The ligator may further include an actuation device extending around the elongate member, wherein the actuation device includes a body, and a bobbin coupled to the body by support arms. A suture may be coupled between the bobbin and the at least one ligating band, wherein rotation of the bobbin draws the suture towards a proximal end of the elongate member to deploy the at least one ligating band from the cap.

Abstract: A locator device and system with an expandable element facilitating imaging of the locator device at a target site at a first anatomical location within a patient from a remote second anatomical location within the patient. The locator device may be formed of a material capable of being imaged from the remote second anatomical location. The locator device may be expandable to contact the interior of the anatomical structure at the first anatomical location to facilitate deployment and to resist movement with respect thereto. The locator device may be separable from the delivery system used to deliver the locator device and left in place at the target site. The locator device may expand the anatomical structure at the first anatomical location to facilitate imaging of such structure from the remote second anatomical structure. In some instances, the locator device may be returned to the delivery configuration and removed from the target site.

Abstract: Devices, systems, and methods for connecting tubes to an endoscope. A connector for connecting tubing, such as gas/lens wash tubing, to fluid ports of an endoscope may include a first end that couples with the tubing and a second end for engaging fluid ports of an endoscope. The connector may have a stabilizing component configured to facilitate securing the second end to the endoscope. In some cases, the connector may include a device coupling member configured to couple to the endoscope and a core structure adding stability to the device coupling member and configured to couple to the tubing. In some cases, the stabilizing component may include an actuator and a retention component that adjusts in response to actuation of the actuator.
