    摘要: A photographic imaging element is disclosed which comprises a support having on one side thereof at least one silver halide emulsion layer and having, in order, on the opposite side thereof an electrically-conductive layer coated from a coating composition comprising a polythiophene/polyanion composition containing a polythiophene with conjugated polymer backbone component and a polymeric polyanion component, and a protective topcoat comprised of a polyurethane binder which has a tensile elongation to break of at least 50% and a Young's modulus measured at 2% elongation of at least 50000 lb/in2; wherein the electrical resistivity of the electrically-conductive layer before photographic processing is less than 2×109 &OHgr;/□, after photographic processing is between 1×109 &OHgr;/□ and 1×1011 &OHgr;/□, and increases by at least one order of magnitude as a result of photographic processing. Photographic imaging elements of the invention effectively minimize both raw (pre-photographic processing) static marking and processed (after photographic processing) photographic element sticking caused by the accumulation of electrostatic charges, and additionally have excellent resistance to scratch and abrasion.

    摘要: The present invention is an imaging element having, a support, an image-forming layer superposed on the support and an outermost scratch resistant antistatic layer superposed on the support. The outermost scratch resistant antistatic layer has a thickness between 0.6 and 10 microns. The scratch resistant layer is composed of a polymer having a modulus greater than 100 MPa measured at 20° C. and a tensile elongation to break greater than 50%, a filler particle having a modulus greater than 10 GPa, and an electrically conducting polymer. The volume ratio of the polymer to the filler particle is between 70:30 and 40:60 and the electrically conducting polymer is present at a weight concentration based on a total dried weight of the scratch resistant layer of between 1 and 10 weight percent.

    摘要: A laminate donor element can be used to transfer a composite of a metal grid and an electronically conductive polymer to a receiver sheet for use in various devices. The laminate donor element has a donor substrate, a metal grid that is disposed over only portions of the donor substrate, leaving portions of the substrate uncovered by the metal grid, and an electronically conductive polymer that covers the portions of the donor substrate that are uncovered by the metal grid. The composite of metal grid and electronically conductive polymer exhibits a peel force of less than or equal to 40 g/cm for separation from the donor substrate at room temperature. The resulting article has a substrate on which a reverse composite of the metal grid and electronically conductive polymer is disposed, which article can be incorporated into various devices.
