Abstract: An insertion part of an endoscope and an insertion part of a treatment tool, which are inserted in an outer tube, can be synchronously moved in the axial direction, and, even when the insertion part of the treatment tool is slightly moved in the axial direction, an excellent endoscopic image without shake is obtained. When a treatment tool of an endoscopic surgery device moves by a displacement amount over an allowance amount, an endoscope moves in interlock with the movement of the treatment tool. Moreover, the treatment tool 50 moves in the axial direction with the allowance amount t with respect to the endoscope 10. Therefore, when the treatment tool is moved by a displacement amount of allowance amount or less, the endoscope does not move. By providing such allowance amount, slight movement of the treatment tool is not transmitted to the endoscope.

Abstract: The invention provides an endoscope system for generating an oxygen saturation image that can be used for various medical applications, such as oxygen saturation monitoring during surgery. A clip 141 is attached to the surrounding tissue of a tumor CN from the luminal side. The tissue to which the clip 141 is attached becomes an ischemic part CL. An oxygen saturation image is generated from image information obtained by imaging the tissue on the abdominal cavity side. In the oxygen saturation image, the ischemic part CL is displayed as a low oxygen region. Accordingly, it becomes easy to find the location of the tumor CN even from the abdominal cavity side.

Worm wheels are disposed on the support sleeve, for driving the endless track device by engagement therewith. Plural idler rollers are disposed on the inner surface of the barrel unit in a rotatable manner, for keeping the endless track device movable in driving of the worm wheels. An guide projection is formed on the endless track device. A guide groove is formed in the barrel unit, for receiving the guide projection, to guide the endless track device on the barrel unit in the axial direction.

Abstract: A propulsion assembly for an endoscope includes a support sleeve and an endless track device. A clamping sleeve is contained in the support sleeve. Male and female threads cooperate for moving the clamping sleeve between operative and non-operative states upon rotation of the clamping sleeve. Abstract: Provided are an endoscopic surgical device and a guide device that can satisfy the function of interlocking two medical instruments with each other. An overtube, which is punctured into a body wall and guides an endoscope and a treatment tool into a body cavity, includes an interlocking member that interlocks the forward and backward movements of the endoscope and the treatment tool with each other. The interlocking member is constituted of a first sleeve coupled to the endoscope, a second sleeve coupled to the treatment tool, and a corded flexible coupling member that couples the first sleeve and the second sleeve together. Accordingly, when the coupling member is in a relaxed state, the endoscope and the treatment tool independently move forward and backward, and when the coupling member is in a tensioned state, the endoscope and the treatment tool move forward and backward in an interlocking manner.
