摘要: A phenolic foam is made by foaming and curing a formable phenolic resin composition that comprises a phenolic resin, a blowing agent, an acid catalyst and an inorganic filler. The blowing agent comprises a blend of chlorinated aliphatic hydrocarbon containing 2 to 5 carbon atoms and an aliphatic hydrocarbon containing from 3 to 6 carbon atoms mixed in a ratio of 60/40 to 95/5 parts by weight. The inorganic filler is at least one selected from a metal hydroxide, a metal oxide, a metal carbonate and metal powder. The phenolic foam has a pH of 5 or more and a water uptake less than 1 kg/m2. A phenolic foam with a higher pH value compared with conventional phenolic foam reduces corrosion risk when in contact with metallic materials. The phenolic foam maintains excellent long-term stable thermal insulation performance, low water uptake and fire resistance performance and by using the said blowing agent, does not harm the environment as an ozone or global warming depleting material.

摘要: An information processing device includes: an accumulating unit for accumulating encoded data obtained by encoding image data; a reading unit for reading out the encoded data in data increments; a determining unit for determining whether or not a parameter indicating the accumulated state of the encoded data at the accumulating unit satisfies a predetermined accumulation condition; a forbidding unit for forbidding readout of encoded data to be read out following encoded data being read out by the reading unit in data increments, which serves as a reference, in the case of the determining unit determining that the parameter satisfies the accumulation condition; and a control unit for controlling the reading unit to omit readout of encoded data of which readout is forbidden by the forbidding unit in data increments, and performing readout of encoded data of which readout is not prohibited by the forbidding unit in data increments.

摘要: A wide bandwidth color video signal, such as a high definition television (HDTV) signal is recorded on a video disc by timebase expanding the luminance component and timebase compressing the color difference components to a bandwidth substantially equal to the bandwidth of the timebase expanded luminance component. The timebase expanded luminance component and the timebase compressed color difference components are time division multiplexed and separated into plural channels of multiplexed signals, each of which is recorded in a respective track on the video disc. Signals recorded in this format are recovered by reproducing the plural channels of multiplexed luminance and color difference components from respective tracks, demultiplexing the timebase expanded luminance component and the timebase compressed color difference components, timebase compressing the separated luminance component to return it to its conventional timebase, and timebase expanding the separated color difference components to return them to their conventional time base.

摘要: Disclosed are a receiving apparatus, a receiving method, and a program capable of reliably obtaining predetermined information. In a case where a broadband signal where the same control information is arranged in different frequency bands is received and processed, a frequency where the control information is stably received is detected, and the control information is obtained again using the detected frequency. This frequency detection is performed by detecting a frequency capable of avoiding a no-signal band in a signal array of the broadband signal determined based on the obtained control information and the like. This technology can be applied to a receiving apparatus that receives a signal conforming to a DVB-C2 standard.
