    摘要: Technology for an eNodeB operable to apply scrambling to coded bits transported via a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) to a user equipment (UE) is disclosed. The eNodeB can generate a code word that comprises coded bits for transmission to the UE. The UE can be a bandwidth-reduced low complexity (BL) UE or a coverage enhancement (CE) UE. The eNodeB can identify, for the BL UE or the CE UE, a scrambling sequence to be applied to the coded bits. The scrambling sequence can be initialized using a defined initialization value (cinit). The eNodeB can apply the scrambling sequence with the defined initialization value to the coded bits to obtain scrambled coded bits. The eNodeB can encode the scrambled coded bits for transmission to the UE via the PDSCH.

    摘要: A user equipment (UE) can receive, from an eNodeB, a serving PLMN system information block (SIB)19 for a carrier frequency of a serving PLMN of the UE. The UE can acquire inter-frequency and inter-PLMN discovery system information acquisition assistance signaling information from the SIB19. The UE can process a non-serving PLMN SIB19 for one or more carrier frequencies of a non-serving PLMN using the inter-frequency and inter-PLMN discovery system information acquisition assistance signaling information. The UE can identify inter-frequency and inter-PLMN discovery announcement rate information and monitoring control configuration information for the one or more carrier frequencies of the non-serving PLMN to enable the UE to perform device-to-device (D2D) discovery with a UE in the non-serving PLMN according to the inter-frequency and inter-PLMN discovery and inter-PLMN discovery announcement rate information and monitoring control configuration information.

    摘要: A User Equipment (UE) includes processing circuitry coupled to memory. To configure the UE for machine type communication (MTC), the processing circuitry is to decode radio resource control (RRC) signaling from a base station (such as an Evolved Node-B (eNB)). The RRC signaling indicates activation of flexible starting physical resource block (PRB) for physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) resource allocation. DCI received on an MTC physical downlink control channel (MPDCCH) is decoded, the DCI indicating a narrowband (NB) index of a NB frequency resource and at least one PRB index for the PDSCH resource allocation. The NB frequency resource indicated by the NB index is shifted based on the activation of the flexible starting PRB for PDSCH resource allocation. PDSCH data received from the base station using the shifted NB frequency resource is decoded.
