摘要: Technology for an eNodeB operable to apply scrambling to coded bits transported via a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) to a user equipment (UE) is disclosed. The eNodeB can generate a code word that comprises coded bits for transmission to the UE. The UE can be a bandwidth-reduced low complexity (BL) UE or a coverage enhancement (CE) UE. The eNodeB can identify, for the BL UE or the CE UE, a scrambling sequence to be applied to the coded bits. The scrambling sequence can be initialized using a defined initialization value (cinit). The eNodeB can apply the scrambling sequence with the defined initialization value to the coded bits to obtain scrambled coded bits. The eNodeB can encode the scrambled coded bits for transmission to the UE via the PDSCH.

摘要: A User Equipment (UE) includes processing circuitry coupled to memory. To configure the UE for machine type communication (MTC), the processing circuitry is to decode radio resource control (RRC) signaling from a base station (such as an Evolved Node-B (eNB)). The RRC signaling indicates activation of flexible starting physical resource block (PRB) for physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) resource allocation. DCI received on an MTC physical downlink control channel (MPDCCH) is decoded, the DCI indicating a narrowband (NB) index of a NB frequency resource and at least one PRB index for the PDSCH resource allocation. The NB frequency resource indicated by the NB index is shifted based on the activation of the flexible starting PRB for PDSCH resource allocation. PDSCH data received from the base station using the shifted NB frequency resource is decoded.

摘要: A user equipment (UE) can include processing circuitry coupled to memory. To configure the UE for New Radio (NR) unlicensed band (NR-U) communications, the processing circuitry is to decode downlink control information (DCI) received via a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH). The DCI provides allocation of uplink frequency resources of a transmission bandwidth. The allocation is a block interleaved frequency division multiple access (B-IFDMA) allocation including a plurality of interleaved physical resource blocks (PRBs) forming M number of interlaces within the transmission bandwidth, and N number of PRBs within each interlace of the M number of interlaces, with N and M being integers greater than or equal to 1. Data is encoded for transmission to a base station via a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) using the B-IFDMA allocation of uplink frequency resources.

摘要: Embodiments of a User Equipment (UE), Next Generation Node-B (gNB) and methods of communication are generally described herein. The UE may receive radio resource control (RRC) signaling that configures reception of a plurality of physical downlink shared channels (PDSCHs) in a frame. The frame may comprise multiple slots, including one or more downlink slots and one or more uplink slots. The UE may determine a subset of the PDSCHs, such that for each of the PDSCHs of the subset, corresponding consecutive slots do not overlap the uplink slots. The UE may set a number of bits of a hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) codebook equal to a number of PDSCHs in the determined subset.
