摘要: A suspension control device including a control device for variably controlling a damping force of a suspension to an optimum value by determining a magnitude of acceleration is vertical opposite directions of a vehicle body which magnitude is equal to or greater than a predetermined level and measuring the accumulated duration time of a sprung resonance which is detected by a cycle of vibration of the vehicle body from a timing of the determination of the magnitude. In another aspect, the suspension control device includes a control device for outputting a command for increasing a damping force when a magnitude of acceleration in vertical opposite directions of a vehicle body is determined to be equal to or greater than a predetermined level, and measuring the number of repetitions of a sprung resonance which is detected by measuring a cycle of vibration of the vehicle body from a timing of the determination of the magnitude. The control device maintains the damping force at a high level until the vehicle is stopped and a door open condition is detected.

In addition, if the amplitude falls out of the range between "HH" and "LL", the control unit supplies a predetermined amount of air to each air spring chamber in response to an upward displacement of vehicle height, and exhausts a predetermined amount of air from each air spring chamber in response to a downward displacement of vehicle height.

摘要: An apparatus for measuring the flow velocity by detecting the number of Von Karman's vortex streets or Strouhl vortexes by utilizing heating wires, said apparatus comprising a vortex generator disposed in a fluid to be measured, at least one heat-sensitive element which detects the flow velocity or flow rate of the fluid in the form of change of temperature caused by said vortex generator, and which produces detection signals that represent change in frequency of the electric signals, an operational amplifier for amplifying the detection signals, and a feedback circuit which feeds the output of said operational amplifier back to said heat-sensitive element such that its temperature is maintained substantially constant, and such that the preset temperature of said heat-sensitive element changes in response to the output of said operational amplifier, whereby the frequency characteristics thereof are improved and the apparatus can be stably started under any conditions.

摘要: A gaseous fluid flow meter utilizing a Karman vortex street has a conduit having opposed flat walls and through which a gaseous fluid to be measured flows, a vortex generating member disposed perpendicularly to the direction of flow of the fluid to generate the Karman vortex street downstream thereof, a vortex detector disposed on the conduit and having a transmitter in one flat wall for transmitting a continuous ultrasonic wave across the Karman vortex street and a receiver in the other flat wall positioned opposite the ultrasonic wave transmitter in a direction perpendicular to the direction of the flow of the gaseous fluid through the conduit for receiving the continuous ultrasonic wave to detect the changes in phase of the ultrasonic wave indicating the number of vortices of the Karman vortex street generated in a unit time, and a sound absorbing material on only the portion of the inner surfaces of the flat walls of the conduit around the transmitter and around the receiver and extending sufficiently far along the walls from the transmitter and receiver for preventing the generation of standing waves in front of the walls due to the reflection of the ultrasonic wave.

摘要: An electric power steering controller and a control method for assisting a driver during handling a steering wheel in a condition of a small road surface reaction torque of a tire by generating an auxiliary return torque for letting the steering wheel return to its original position. A first road surface reaction torque is estimated from a steering torque of a driver detected by a steering torque detector, a motor acceleration detected by a motor acceleration detector, and a motor current detected by a motor current detector. A second road surface reaction torque is estimated from a steering angle detected by a steering angle sensor, and a vehicle speed detected by a vehicle speed detector. Then, first and second auxiliary return torque signals of the steering wheel are computed from a road surface reaction torque, and, based on the computed result, a torque of the motor is controlled in direction so the steering wheel is returned to its original position.

摘要: An electrically-operated steering apparatus in which in addition to avoiding an increase in cost caused by installing a new sensor or using a high process speed CPU, steering feels, such as steering wheel return, viscous feeling, inertial feeling and frictional feeling, are improved. In addition to assisting a static steering torque on the basis of a torque sensor, with a motor-applied voltage detection circuit capable of removing the square wave component attendant on the PWM drive of a motor, a motor angular velocity .omega. is estimated from the output data of the relevant circuit. A motor angular acceleration d.omega./dt is estimated from the motor angular velocity .omega. by using a differential calculator. The steering friction and the moment of inertia are compensated on the basis of the motor angular velocity .omega. and motor angular acceleration d.omega./dt, respectively.
