Abstract:
A method for modifying the flavor profile of a plant protein preparation, especially a protein preparation from a leguminous plant. The protein preparation is brought into contact with water-soluble carbohydrates in an aqueous solution before being added to a food product, the contact advantageously influencing the flavor profile of protein preparations from leguminous plant, so that the preparations can be used in foodstuffs without essentially changing the flavor thereof.
Abstract:
A multilayer laminated material which comprises at least one layer of glass and which has improved thermal stability is distinguished in that it comprises a lower substrate layer of a plastic, a metal or a combination of plastic and metal, an intermediate layer arranged thereon and comprising a soft material or comprising a thermoplastic, a further fibrous intermediate layer comprising plastic, which is provided with a solvent-free adhesive material, and a top layer of glass. The multilayer laminated material is suitable for the installation of glass elements in the area of the electrical, the electronics and the automotive industry and for other industrial applications.
Abstract:
A method of treating and processing alkaloid, oil and protein-containing lupine seeds for the extraction of products from the lupine seeds by means of targeted fractionation is described, whereby the comminuted lupine seed is de-oiled by introducing a solvent and the residue is depleted of substances soluble in the acid range, preferably of alkaloids, by adding acids. The invention is characterized by the provisions that the lupine seeds are comminuted and/or shaped to form discoid flakes in such a way that after pre-crushing of the shelled or non-shelled seed containing the plant seeds the comminution of the plant seeds is carried out by means of a cooled flocculating roller, and the seed is heated by indirect supply of heat, largely with exclusion of water, and that after de-oiling the depletion of the flakes of substances soluble in the acid range, preferably of alkaloids, is performed by aqueous extraction, with a refined product of reduced alkaloid level and an aqueous extract being obtained.
Abstract:
Layered composite materials which comprises a substrate made from a thermoplastic polymer, and comprise an intermediate layer arranged thereupon and a decorative layer applied to the intermediate layer, where the decorative layer is composed of a chromed metal. A heat-cured layer may moreover be applied to the decorative layer. Layered composite materials of this type are suitable, inter alia, as reflecting or insulating parts of household devices or of moldings in the electrical, construction or automotive industry.
Abstract:
The rotary light switch for motor vehicles has a housing (10) and an actuating member (14) mounted rotatably. In a peripheral wall (24) of the housing, a cam surface (26) is recessed, which runs in peripheral direction and rises axially facing axially away from the actuating member. A cam follower (22) projects radially from the actuating member (14) and runs up on the cam surface on rotation of the actuating member, bearing only axially on the cam surface and forcing the actuating member (14) to move axially.
Abstract:
The electrical turn/pull switch for vehicle lighting has an operating part (14) that is mounted in a switch housing (12) so as to be rotatable as well as axially movable. The movable contact elements (22, 24, 26) of a contact carrier (20) interact with fixed contact elements (30). The contact elements for the turn switch function (22) and for the axial switch function (24, 26) are integrated on the contact carrier (20). An actuation part (16) entrained by the operating part (14) has cams and/or ramps (18) that engage the movable contact elements (24, 26) and actuate them.
Abstract:
A layered composite material comprises a backing made from a thermoplastic polymer, an intermediate layer arranged thereupon, and a heat-cured layer applied to the intermediate layer, where the bonding material of the intermediate layer is a thermoplastic. The intermediate layer and the backing may be composed of the same thermoplastic. The intermediate layer and the heat-cured layer may also be applied to both sides of the backing. The layered composite material may furthermore comprise a decorative layer between the intermediate layer and the heat-cured layer.
Abstract:
A frontal part comprising a decorative part made from a support, from a decorative layer applied thereto, and from a heat-cured layer situated on the decorative layer, and also, if desired, comprising a reinforcer for supporting the decorative part. The frontal part may also comprise an intermediate layer between the support and the decorative layer. The support and the reinforcer may each be composed of a thermoplastic, for example of polypropylene or of polyethylene.
Abstract:
A process for producing a composite material with an intermediate layer made from a thermoplastic polymer, an intermediate layer arranged thereupon, and a heat-cured layer applied to the intermediate layer, where the bonding material of the intermediate layer is a thermoplastic, the process comprising providing the materials for the intermediate layer, an optional decorative layer, and the heat-cured layer each in the form of a sheet, then bonding the sheets to the backing material at temperatures from 150 to 300° C. The intermediate layer and the backing may be composed of the same thermoplastic. The intermediate layer and the heat-cured layer may also be applied to both sides of the backing. The layered composite material may furthermore comprise a decorative layer between the intermediate layer and the heat-cured layer.
