摘要: A method for manufacturing an ink jet recording head in which an ink discharge port for discharging an ink droplet to be adhered to a recording medium, a liquid chamber for containing ink to be supplied to the ink discharge port, an ink low path for communicating the ink discharge port with the liquid chamber, an energy generating element provided in the ink flow path and adapted to generate energy for discharging the ink and an ink supply opening for supplying the ink from exterior into the liquid chamber are formed by bonding or adhering plate members. In the method when an orifice plate in which the ink discharge port is formed is subjected to laser working, a laser light of plural pulses having very great spatial and time energy density and emitted from a laser oscillator for oscillating the laser light at a pulse emitting time smaller than 1 pico-second is used, and the laser beam is illuminated from an outer surface side of the orifice plate which is opposite to an ink supplying side thereby to form an ink discharge port working pattern on the outer surface of the orifice plate by focus projection.

摘要: An electric power steering unit includes an electric motor that applies assisting force with respect to a rotating operation of the steering wheel. In one embodiment, the steering torque TM detected by a steering torque sensor is converted into a command current value I* for the electric motor by a controller. The controller controls the driving of the electric motor in accordance with the command current value I*. The controller can calculate a differential value of the steering torque TM. Based on the calculated differential value, the inertia compensation control amount TM′ is added to the steering torque TM, thus reducing the steering operation load of the steering wheel at the start of a steering operation. The steering speed also can be detected. The inertia compensation control amount TM′ can be decreased with an increase in detected steering speed, thus avoiding an uncomfortable steering feel due to the difference in the steering speeds.

摘要: A cell adhesive material with excellent cell adhesion and cell proliferating property and a method for producing the same are provided. The adhesion and proliferation of cells can be improved remarkably by the surface modification of a cell adhesive material comprising a polymer material containing carbon as a constituting element, such as polystyrene or segmented polyurethane, wherein at least a part of the surface is modified by ion bombardment through ion implantation. The method for producing such cell adhesive material comprises implanting ions into at least a part of the surface of the polymer material. The cell adhesive material and the method for producing the same are promising for application to cell culture petri dishes and hybrid-type medicinal materials.

摘要: A process for preparing a silver halide photographic emulsion to be used for a photographic material is provided. Therein, additives such as dyes, sensitizers, auxiliary agents to be used upon gold sensitization, and so on are utilized within a period from at the silver halide grain forming time to just before the emulsion coating, and oxidizing agents are added at the time when the functions of the additives become substantially needless to result in conversion of the additives to those having no bad influences on photographic characteristics of the emulsion prepared, or to those having such chemical structures as to facilitate their removal with a washing treatment or the like.Silver halide emulsions prepared by the described process are also disclosed.
