摘要: An electric golf cart that repeatedly travels around a given course of golf links is powered by a driving motor supplied with electric power from a driving battery. The electric golf cart is provided with a travel distance integrating unit, a memory, a battery charge and discharge integrating unit, and a discharge-per-course calculating unit. Mapping data is stored in the memory, which mapping data defines the relationship between the distance that the electric golf cart travels and the number of rounds that the electric golf cart has traveled. The number of rounds that the electric golf cart has traveled is calculated by the discharge-per-course calculating unit based on the travel distance obtained by the travel distance integrating unit along with the mapping data. Then, the number of rounds obtained and the discharge calculated by the battery charge and discharge integrating unit are utilized to identify the discharge of the driving battery per course.

摘要: A fluorescence microscope comprises plural types of filter sets including a combination of a excitation filter, a dichroic mirror, and an absorption filter, a filter switch portion for switching the filter sets at a predetermined timing, an imaging portion for picking up an image of a specimen as an observation object by using the filter sets, a display portion having a plurality of image display areas on which the image picked up by the imaging portion are displayed respectively, and a control portion for generating a superposed image on which the images are superposed. In this fluorescence microscope, the imaging portion picks up the image via every filter set in synchronism with a timing which is set by the switching set portion and at which the filter switch portion switches the filter sets, and then the picked-up image is automatically updated and displayed in the image display areas.

摘要: An acceleration sensor is disclosed which includes a capacitance-type acceleration detection element mounted on a ceramic base plate. The element comprises a movable electrode mounted between a pair of fixed electrodes. Acceleration of the sensor in a measurement direction causes the movable electrode to move relative to the fixed electrodes and the element has opposite ends in a direction perpendicular to the measurement direction. The acceleration detection element is mounted on the base at a first one of the opposite ends. Accordingly, the mounting surface of the acceleration sensor is parallel to the direction of acceleration to be detected. Thus the acceleration sensor can be surface-mounted on a printed board, and more be easily mounted in an automobile air bag control system or the like.

摘要: In a system for displaying a plurality of parameters, such as on an instrument panel of a vehicle, a plurality of signals in the form of pulses each having a pulse frequency corresponding to a respective parameter are generated by respective sensors. Each pulse supplied from these signals to a status register results in generation of an interrupt request signal to a central processing unit. The central processing unit controls a mask register which in turn controls a gating arrangement which selectively masks or inhibits the application of pulses from one or more sensors to the status register so that upon receiving a first interrupt request signal, the central processing unit can mask all sensors but the one responsible for the interrupt request signal and proceed with calculation of the parameter associated therewith by measuring the interval between subsequently-generated interrupt request signals, such measurement being carried out by execution of increment instructions. Internal timing and the use of flags provides for the calculation of successive values of different parameters and the periodic display thereof.
