摘要: A method and system for creating and sending call disposition messages. When a calling card call is validated by the telephone network which issued the card, the card issuing network can request a call disposition message. In response to validation of the call, a billing detail record is generated and stored. When the call is completed. an operator service record is generated. The operator service record and its corresponding billing detail record are matched with each other, then merged to form a merged operator services record. The merged operator services record is processed to add pricing information. If the card issuing network had requested a call disposition message, the merged operator services record is sent to a gateway coupled to the card issuing network where it is reformatted to create a call disposition message. The call disposition message is then sent to the card issuing network.

摘要: A mobile wire wrapping machine adapted for wrapping wire under tension around a stationary, generally circular object of large size during substantially continuous travel of the machine around such object. This machine contains a supply of wire utilized in conjunction with a wire tensioning assembly through which the wire passes, with the wire tensioning assembly serving to create a substantial amount of tension in the wire as it passes therethrough, to thereafter be wrapped around the large object. My novel machine utilizes a tension indicating device, which advantageously involves a weight mounted for motion in a direction such that its position is influenced by gravity. The position of the movably mounted weight serves as a reflection of the amount of tension in the wire, and movement of the weight during operation of the machine, provides a conspicuous indication, on a substantially continuous basis, of any changes in tension in the wire. This tension indicating device may be utilized in connection with an arrangement operatively associated with the wire tensioning assembly, for modifying the tension in the wire, so that the wire being wrapped around the large stationary object will be automatically maintained at a consistent tension. In accordance with one embodiment of this invention, the movably mounted weight is suspended by a pulley arrangement, whereas in accordance with another arrangement, the weight is mounted in an adjustable manner on a balance beam, with motion of the balance beam during operation of the machine being about a balance point.

摘要: The present invention includes systems and methods for dynamic allocation of computing resources. Computing resources on an aircraft are divided amongst several avionics applications that are responsible for controlling sub-systems on the aircraft (e.g. the navigation system). A resource manager assigns computing resources (e.g. processor cycles) to individual applications based on the present condition of the aircraft and then instructs the throttling mechanisms to allocate the computing resources among the applications. The resource manager determines the aircraft condition by correlating inputs from the aircraft to a set of rules stored in a condition table. The resource manager then determines the computing resource allocation by correlating the aircraft condition to a set of resource allocations stored in an allocation table.
