    摘要: The present invention relates to a technique for correcting tones of a digitized image, for use in a mobile terminal or the like. The use of a conventional image tone correction technique to backlight correction imposes a limit on improvement in local contrast in a bright region or a dark region. According to the present invention, a block timing generation part (102) divides one image area into a plurality of blocks, an average luminance calculation part (103) calculates an average luminance level per block specified at the part 102, a correction-amount-per-block calculation part (104) calculates a direction of correction and a correction amount from an average luminance level per block, a correction-amount-per-pixel calculation part (105) interpolates the correction amount per block into the correction amount per pixel in that block, and a tone conversion part (107) reads out a final correction amount from a tone conversion table part (108), using the correction amount per pixel and luminance data of that pixel read out from a memory (106) as an address, to carry out tone conversion.

When the overall rear surfaces of the display panel and the liquid crystal display panel are adhered to the electroluminescent panel by an adhesive, the vibration sound generated from the electroluminescent panel can be reduced. Further, when an appropriate pigment is diffused into the adhesive, light for illuminating the display panel and the operation panel is adjusted to a desired color.

    摘要: A liquid crystal display panel has a contact terminal arrangement region in a central portion of a projected portion of a segment substrate. Segment terminals are arranged in an upper central portion of the contact terminal arrangement region. Common terminals are arranged on the left and right sides of the upper central portion so as to cross the segment terminals. A film wiring board has contact terminal portions respectively connected to the terminals in the contact terminal arrangement region. Therefore, the width of the film wiring board along its entire length can be smaller than that of the display region. Consequently, the cost is reduced and the reliability of interconnection can be considerably improved.

    摘要: A sub-band audio signal synthesizer produces a digital audio signal from a sub-band coded audio signal having a predetermined number of sub-bands. A memory stores predetermined samples. A memory controller controls read and write operations of the memory. An adder adds the signal read out of the memory to a new window signal produced on the sub-band coded audio signal to synthesize a digital audio signal. A buffer memory stores and outputs the synthesized digital audio signal and an interpolation signal of the digital audio signal. During normal synthesis, the memory-controller cyclically reads the samples stored in the memory beginning from an address shifted by a predetermined number of samples every time a new cycle of reading is started. The memory-controller writes a result of the addition by the adder back into the memory, thereby producing cumulatively added samples of the window signals. The output circuit outputs, from among the cumulatively added samples, a predetermined number of samples which have been subjected to a predetermined number of cumulative additions, the sample being outputted every time the addition is performed. During interpolation, the memory-controller prevents the result of the addition from being written into the memory, and repeatedly reads the cumulatively added samples from the memory. The output circuit outputs the cumulatively added samples read from the memory as the interpolation signal of the digital audio signal.

    摘要: A digital signal reproducing apparatus reproduces coded digital signal data which have been recorded on a magnetic tape. The digital signal reproducing apparatus includes first and second decoders. These decoders perform the error correction and erasure correction. The second decoder has a higher error detection capability than that of the first decoder. The reproducing apparatus further includes a checking circuit for checking code errors contained in the coded digital signal data. When the code errors detected by the checking circuit may occur simultaneously, a first editing-point detection signal is produced. When the first editing-point detection signal is output, a judgement is done that the editing-point may exist in the digital signal data, and the first decoder is changed to the second decoder for a predetermined time period. When the second decoder detects correction-prohibited data portion, a second editing-point detection signal. Upon receipt of the second editing-point detection signal, the cross-fade process is carried out for the digital signal data by an editing processor.
