摘要: An input speech signal is compressed and encoded by a speech encoding unit 3 and sent to an RF transmission processing unit 4 where it is channel-encoded, modulated and transmission-processed so as to be transmitted over an antenna 11. A signal received over the antenna 11 is reception-processed, demodulated and channel-decoded so as to be expanded and decoded a speech decoding unit 6. A recording/playback control unit 8 controls writing of a signal from the speech encoding unit 3 to a semiconductor memory 7 or readout of a signal from the semiconductor memory 7 to the speech encoding unit 3. This enables the semiconductor memory 7 to be efficiently utilized in single/dual communication without increasing the circuit construction.

摘要: A control device for an electrically driven telescopic antenna including: a counting signal extracting circuit which detects the altered waveform of an rectified current generated during the forward or reverse rotation of a DC motor so as to extract counting signals; a command device which sends a control stop command to a motor drive control circuit when the counted value of the extracted counting signals reaches a certain preset value; a motor current monitoring circuit which monitors the current flow to the motor and outputs information on the completion of the antenna element extension/retraction action when the motor current value exceeds a prescribed value; and a correction device which corrects the counted value based upon the information outputted by the motor current monitoring circuit. The control device can include a large-capacitance capacitor for absorbing power supply fluctuations. In addition, a CPU that includes a control stop command device and counted-value correcting device can be controlled by an oscillation circuit which starts functioning when extension/retraction command signals are issued and stops such an operation when the rotational operation of the motor is completed.

摘要: A pH sensor comprising a sleeve assembly having at least first and second spaces, a partition separating the two spaces from each other with a water tight seal, and a barrel including a flange, a reference electrode accommodated in the first space and including a liquid junction, a glass electrode having a sensor unit disposed adjacent to the liquid junction, liquid grounding means mounted adjacent to the liquid junction, and a cable disposed in the second space with a watertight seal, the cable being electrically connected to the reference electrode, glass electrode and liquid grounding means. The pH sensor can be used for continuous flow, immersion or submersion types of installations, and can be fabricated inexpensively and is easily maintained. The sensor unit of the pH sensor can be easily cleaned by a cleaning unit which includes a rotatable shaft to which is connected a vane and a brush at one end. Fluid is impinged on the vane to cause rotation of the shaft and brush, lifts the brush against the sensor unit, and is ejected out of the shaft to clean the sensor unit and brush. A simple attachment can be used to connect the cleaning unit to the pH sensor to enable rapid, easily and reliable cleaning, and to enable rapid replacement of such cleaning unit.

摘要: A novel thermosetting resin composition comprising at least one [(2,3-epoxypropoxy)alkyl]trialkoxysilane and at least one selected from polymers, prepolymers, copolymers and coprepolymers of epoxy-group-containing vinyl monomers, which may further contain at least one selected from polymers, prepolymers, copolymers and coprepolymers of vinyl monomers containing no epoxy group, is disclosed. This composition is cured by heating with addition of a ring-opening polymerization catalyst and remarkably improves surface hardness, abrasion resistance, weathering resistance, chemical resistances, heat resistances, etc. of acrylic resins and many other plastic materials without imparing the inherent transparency and other optical properties of these materials when it is applied on the surface of them and cured.

摘要: A resin composition for a foam is composed of a branched rubbery olefin based soft resin (C) where its gel fraction (a weight percentage of an insoluble content after extraction with xylene boiled at 138° C. for 3 hours) is less than 5%, and a volume ratio of a component which exhibits a mobility of less than 400 microseconds at a T2 (spin-spin relaxation) time by proton (H+) pulse nuclear magnetic resonance is 55 to 95%, obtained by kneading and reacting to thicken an organic peroxide crosslinking type olefin based copolymer rubber (A) and an organic peroxide decomposing type crystalline olefin resin (B). By the use of this resin composition, it is possible to provide foamed articles which can be used for interior parts for automobiles, have high to low foaming magnifications and a recycling property, and are soft and excellent in cushion property, thermal insulating property and in-mold foam molding property.

摘要: It is an object of the present invention to provide a novel aluminum tube of an oval cross section that has a wider range of applications and added values. A disk-shaped metal slug (21) is impact-extruded with the use of a die (14) and a punch (13) each having an optimally designed structure to form a metal tube (T) integrally including a mouth, a shoulder and a body of an oval cross section. A hem portion of the oval body of the tube (T) thus formed and hardened by the impact extrusion is once deformed into a circular shape, and then trimmed off by a turning operation.
