    摘要: A primary winding T1 and a switching circuit 1 are serially inserted between input terminals Ti1 and Ti2 to which an alternating current is supplied. A diode 2, a resistor 3, and a capacitor 4 are serially inserted in parallel with the primary winding T1. A detecting circuit 5 is connected to both ends of the capacitor 4 and to an emitter and a collector of a phototransistor 7b. A control circuit 6 controls the switching circuit 1. A diode bridge 8 and a capacitor 9 are provided for a secondary winding T2. Output terminals To1 and To2 are connected to both ends of the capacitor 9. A voltage detecting circuit 10 is provided in parallel with the capacitor 9. The voltage detecting circuit 10 detects voltages which are outputted from the output terminals To1 and To2 and supplies the detected voltages to a control circuit 11. The control circuit 11 controls a light emitting diode 7a.

    摘要: A process for preparing a porous metallic body comprising the steps of: rendering a porous resin body electrically conductive, electroplating the conductive resin, and heating the electroplated resin to remove the resin, wherein the step of rendering the resin electrically conductive is conducted by coating the resin with a coating composition containing amorphous carbon particles as a conductive material. In the process, substantially spherical carbon particles may be used as the conductive material. The substantially spherical carbon particles are still preferably amorphous carbon. The thus obtained porous metallic body has reduced defect and more smooth skeleton in the porous body, is less likely to cause stress concentration upon application of bending and tensile force, has lower carbon content, and superior mechanical strength, and, therefore, the substrate is suitable as an electrode substrate for batteries.

    摘要: A sensor unit of an optical probe includes an illuminating device having an illuminating point arranged on the central portion of a detective surface facing a to-be-measured object, and eight light receiving devices arranged on the x and y axes in the detective surface, for receiving a reflected light from the object, four light receiving points among those of the eight light receiving devices being symmetrically arranged on the x axis with respect to the illuminating point and the remaining four light receiving points thereof being symmetrically arranged on the y axis with respect to the illuminating point. The rotation angle .theta. of the unit normal vector around the x axis and the rotation angle .phi. thereof around the y axis in the detective surface are calculated by processing the amounts of light received by the eight light receiving devices of the sensor unit.

    摘要: An imaging system includes an A/D converter including a holding unit holding a pixel signal as a voltage level, a comparator comparing the voltage level held with a reference level, a circuit capable of changing the voltage level so as to approach the reference level at first and second rates, wherein the voltage level is changed at the first rate to determine higher bits in accordance with inversion of a relationship between the reference level and the voltage level, after that, the voltage level is changed at the second rate to determine lower bits in accordance with inversion of the relationship between the reference level and the voltage level, and an adjusting unit which adjusts the voltage level during a period until the voltage level is changed at the second rate after determination of the higher bits so that the lower bits and the voltage level hold a linear relationship.
