    摘要: In an electromagnetically operable engine valve assembly including a controller for an internal combustion engine, a stable initialization is achieved which suppresses a collision of a movable element against an electromagnet to cope with a viscosity of a lubricating oil during an engine start under an engine low temperature. A supplied current value is feedback controlled in accordance with a position of movable element when an initialization control such that a current is continuously supplied to one of electromagnets is executed. At this time, the feedback control gain G1 is, first, set to a relatively small value and is, thereafter, switched to a relatively large value at a gradual pace for each execution of the initialization control until the initialization control has succeeded in moving the movable element to an initial position.

    摘要: An electromagnetically actuated valve includes generally an electromagnet, an armature member driven by the electromagnet and a valve driven by the armature member. The armature member and the valve are movable together to constitute a movable unit. For controlling the electromagnetically actuated valve, there is provided a control system which comprises a position detecting unit that detects a position of the movable unit; a speed detecting unit that detects a moving speed of the movable unit; a target speed deriving section that derives a target speed of the movable unit by processing the position of the movable unit; a comparator section that compares the speed detected by the speed detecting unit with the target speed derived by the target speed deriving section; and a control section that, in accordance with the result of the comparison by the comparator section, controls the electromagnet.

    摘要: A braking force control system is provided with a controller connected to a vehicle operating condition detector, an engine braking force actuator and a wheel braking force actuator. The controller determines a target total braking force on the basis of the vehicle operating condition, a target transmission ratio and a target engine output on the basis of the target total braking force and calculates an engine braking force on the basis of the vehicle operating condition. The controller extracts a fast component of a rate of change of the target total braking force and determines a target wheel braking force on the basis of the fast component. The controller controls wheel braking force actuator so as to correspond the wheel braking force to the target wheel braking force. Therefore, a total responsibility of the system is improved by enhancing a follow-up characteristic during a first half of a transient period.

    摘要: A system for estimating the state of a controlled vehicle's motion has a steering wheel angle sensor, a vehicle speed sensor, a sensor for sensing a first motion variable such as a yaw rate, a sensor for sensing a second motion variable such as a yaw acceleration, and a processing unit such as a microcomputer. In accordance with the sensor output signals, the processing unit produces a condition signal which is in a first signal state when the unit determines that the vehicle is in a steady-state turning motion, and in a second signal state when the unit determines that the vehicle is in a transient state turning motion. The processing unit determines estimated values of the first and second motion variables corresponding to the steering wheel angle and vehicle speed by solving a first predetermined mathematical vehicle model, and further determines an estimated value of a third motion variable such as slip angle or steer angle by solving a second mathematical vehicle model which may be identical to or different from the first model. The processing unit adjusts a value of a vehicle characterizing parameter such as a cornering power of the second model in accordance with the result of comparison between the sensed and estimated values of the first motion variable when the condition signal is in the first state, and in accordance with the result of comparison between the sensed and estimated value of the second motion variable when the condition signal is in the second state.
