    摘要: A driving force distribution control system for a 4WD vehicle includes a transfer clutch for continuously varying a front wheel driving force transmitted to front wheels, a sensor group for sensing conditions of the vehicle to determine a vehicle speed, and a front and rear wheel speed difference obtained by subtracting a front wheel speed from a rear wheel speed, and a control unit for controlling the front wheel driving force substantially continuously by controlling the engagement force of the transfer clutch. The control unit includes a first calculating section for calculating a slip dependent clutch engagement force which increases as the absolute value of the front and rear wheel speed difference increases, a second calculating section for calculating a vehicle speed dependent clutch engagement force which increases as the vehicle speed increases, and a selecting section for determining a final desired transfer clutch engagement force by selecting the greater of the results of the first and second calculating sections. 7

    摘要: An information system for a host vehicle is comprised of an accelerator manipulation detecting device that detects an accelerator manipulation quantity of an accelerator according to which a driver demand driving force is generated by an internal combustion engine, an object detecting unit that detects an object ahead of the host vehicle; and a controller which is connected to the accelerator manipulation detecting device and the object detecting unit. The controller determines a contact possibility that the host vehicle will contact with an object ahead of the host vehicle, on the basis of information from the objecting detecting unit, and corrects a driving-force relationship between the driver demand driving force and the accelerator manipulation quantity according to the contact possibility. The controller may include a processor that employs a simulation of a virtual member in front of the host vehicle which provides feedback to a driver of the host vehicle based on a relationship between the host vehicle and an object ahead of the host vehicle. The virtual member may be, for example, a virtual spring.

    摘要: A control system comprises a clutch for limiting a differential action between left and right drive wheels or varying a driving torque distribution between front and rear drive axles of a four wheel drive vehicle, a sensor group and a controller for controlling an engagement force of the clutch to control the differential limiting force or the torque distribution. The sensor group senses a decelerating condition of the vehicle, a vehicle lateral acceleration and a vehicle speed. The controller increases the clutch engagement force, so as to restrain tack-in, in accordance with the lateral acceleration when the vehicle is in a decelerating operation and the lateral acceleration is high. When the vehicle speed increases, the controller increases a rate of increase of the clutch engagement force with respect to the lateral acceleration to improve both of a high speed cornering stability and a low speed steering response.

    摘要: A vehicle driving assist system executes an actuation reaction force control of accelerator pedal, a driving force control or a braking force control in a manner that is appropriate in consideration of the traffic situation in which the vehicle is being driven. The vehicle driving assist system calculates a risk potential that indicates the degree of convergence between the vehicle and an obstacle existing in front of the vehicle based on a prescribed control pattern.
