摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a novel emulsion coagulant having excellent coagulability used in a tire puncture sealing agent, and a tire puncture repair kit that uses the same. The present invention is an emulsion coagulant comprising magnesium oxide and a silane coupling agent and a cellulose and/or magnesium hydroxide, wherein a mass ratio of the magnesium oxide to the silane coupling agent is from 100:0.5 to 100:15; and a tire puncture repair kit that uses the same.

摘要: Disclosed is a liquid coagulant which can be injected into the inside of a tire without the need of removing the tire from a rim and which can prevent the scattering of a residue of a tire puncture sealing material when the tire is removed from the rim. The liquid coagulant can coagulate an emulsion that contains natural rubber latex and/or a synthetic resin emulsion. The liquid coagulant contains a foaming agent capable of foaming the emulsion. Also disclosed is a tire puncture sealant set including the coagulant and a method of coagulating a tire puncture sealant.

The mixed solvent is a mixed solvent in which the mass ratio of isopropyl alcohol to dimethylformamide is from 93:7 to 75:25, or a mixed solvent in which the mass ratio of isopropyl alcohol to water is from 50:50 to 5:95, and a mass ratio of the vinyl ether monomer to the mixed solvent is from 3:100 to 45:100.

摘要: A production method for a vinyl ether polymer of the present technology is a production method for a vinyl ether polymer, wherein a vinyl ether monomer is subjected to living radical polymerization using a polymerization initiator, a monovalent copper compound, a ligand which is coordinated to the above copper compound, and ascorbic acid in a solvent. The above solvent has a mass ratio of isopropyl alcohol to water from 30:70 to 0:100. A mass ratio of the above vinyl ether monomer to the above solvent is from 10:100 to 25:100. A molar ratio of copper in the above copper compound to the above ascorbic acid is from 1:0.5 to 1:2.

摘要: A method of manufacturing a rubber member includes forming a mask on which pattern structures are arranged at a constant pitch, arranging the mask on a substrate of a mold made of a metal or a semiconductor material and etching the substrate. The method further includes adhering unvulcanized rubber to the substrate, vulcanizing the unvulcanized rubber to form vulcanized rubber, and transferring a fine ridged/grooved structure to a surface of the vulcanized rubber. The fine ridged/grooved structure is formed on at least a part of the surface of the vulcanized rubber as the rubber member, the fine ridged/grooved structure having fine ridged/grooved portions arranged at the constant pitch. A region in which the fine ridged/grooved structure is provided is visually recognizable by a structural color different from colors of other regions.

摘要: The present invention is to provide a rubber composition for a tire tread, which can produce a studless tire having both excellent performance on ice and excellent wear resistance, and to provide a studless tire using the rubber composition. The rubber composition for a tire tread of the present invention contains 100 parts by mass of a diene rubber (A) containing a modified butadiene rubber and from 0.5 to 25 parts by mass of thermally expandable microcapsules (B). The modified butadiene rubber is obtained by modifying an unmodified butadiene rubber with a carboxy group-containing nitrone compound. The content of the modified butadiene rubber in the diene rubber (A) is from 20 to 65 mass %.

摘要: A rubber composition for a tire rim cushion or rubber finishing contains a diene rubber and a filler containing a carbon black. The diene rubber contains a natural rubber and/or an isoprene rubber, and a modified polymer that is obtained by reacting a nitrone compound with a double bond of a conjugated diene polymer. The content of the natural rubber and/or the isoprene rubber in the diene rubber is from 30 to 60 mass %, the content of the modified polymer in the diene rubber is from 8 to 70 mass %, the content of the filler is from 60 to 90 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the diene rubber, and the nitrogen adsorption specific surface area of the carbon black is from 60 to 150 m2/g. Such rubber composition has excellent low heat build-up and ozone resistance when formed into a tire.
