    摘要: Polymer particles having a small particle diameter and a narrow particle diameter distribution are obtained by a continuous polymerization method which does not accompany an increase of cohering products attaching to an inner face of a reaction vessel and an air-bubble invasion and, in which stirring of a material solution for polymerization is easy. An emulsion polymerization reaction or a suspension polymerization reaction is carried out by supplying a material solution for polymerization continuously to a clearance between coaxial double cylinders, which have stretched toward a direction crossing a horizontal plane, from the end side of the cylinders, by rotating at least one of the double cylinders round the axis and thereby, causing Taylor vortices. The polymer particles thus-formed are obtained by through the other end side of the double cylinders to the outside.

    摘要: A hydraulic pressure control valve comprises a valve body having a slide bore of a circular cross-section and an inlet port and an outlet port opened into an inner surface of the slide bore at axially spaced apart points, and a valve spool slidably received in the valve body for axially sliding movement and defining, by cooperation with the valve body, a variable orifice for controlling the degree of communication between the inlet and outlet ports. In the hydraulic pressure control valve, a smaller diameter portion defining an annular oil passage between an inner surface of the slide bore is provided on the valve spool coaxially with the slide bore to define the variable orifice, and has an outside diameter set constant over axially entire length. This facilitates the dimensional control of the variable orifice, so that the variation in property of the variable orifice for every hydraulic pressure control valve may be easily suppressed.

    摘要: A cassette for storing a plurality of electronic component chips employed for providing the plurality of electronic component chips to an apparatus for supplying electronic component chips comprises a plurality of electronic component chips; a case for storing the plurality of electronic component chips, which is provided with first and second outer wall surfaces adjacently intersecting with each other and an outlet formed in the first outer wall surface, the case also being for discharging the electronic component chips; and an openable closure for closing the outlet. The closure is formed by a flexible plate. The case has a guide portion for slidably guiding the closure over a portion along the first outer wall surface, and a portion along the second outer wall surface. The closure is guided by the guide portion to open and close the outlet, while one end portion thereof is positioned along the second outer wall surface whether the outlet is opened or closed. Such end portion of the closure is provided with a slidable opening/closing operation member, which is exposed on the second outer wall surface.

    摘要: A thermal electrostatic ink-jet recording apparatus includes an orifice for storing and jetting ink. The orifice is formed between first and second plate members and a longitudinal array of heating elements is formed on one of the plate members and is covered by an insulating layer. An electrically conductive layer is formed either on the insulating layer or the other plate member and cooperates with a counter electrode supporting a recording medium to apply an electrostatic field to ink in the orifice. The electrically conductive layer includes a central portion that extends substantially to the egress of the orifice in the area where ink is contained in the orifice and peripheral portions on either side of the orifice that are not in contact with the ink and that are spaced substantially away from the egress of the orifice. The spacing of the peripheral portion away from the egress of the orifice prevents a gas discharge phenomenon that induces instability in ink jetting.
