    摘要： Each coating liquid is supplied from a first end of each manifold to a second end of the manifold, and pressure loss of each coating liquid flowing through each supply slot becomes smaller from the first end to the second end so as to cancel the pressure loss of the coating liquid flowing through the manifold. Each supply slot becomes shorter from the first end to the second end. This makes the liquid amount uniform along the width of the supply slot (coating width), and thus the layers can be well formed without defects.

    摘要： A library apparatus for storage media such as optical disks includes a rotatable cell drum having several columns of cells for storing the storage media, a load/unload device for inserting and removing cartridges one at a time, at least one drive for reading from or writing to selected media, and an accessor which moves the storage media between the load/unload device and the cell drum, and between the cell drum and the drive. The load/unload device rotates in a collinear arrangement with the cell drum, and can rotate in unison with the cell drum, or independently of the cell drum. The collinear arrangement of the cell drum and the load/unload device reduces the overall size of the library.

    摘要： An optical disk library apparatus equipped with a function of automatically cleaning an optical head in a drive unit. This optical disk library apparatus comprises a cartridge entry/eject mechanism for entering an optical disk cartridge into the library apparatus and ejecting the optical disk cartridge from the library apparatus. Also included is a cell unit having a plurality of cells each for holding the optical disk cartridge therein, a drive unit having an optical head to record data on and/or to reproduce the same from the optical disk cartridge, and outputting a head cleaning request signal on the basis of information relative to soil of the optical head, and an accessor for carrying the optical disk cartridge among the cartridge entry/eject mechanism, the cell unit and the drive unit. The optical disk library apparatus further includes an accessor control means for controlling the accessor to carry a cleaning cartridge from the cell unit to the drive unit in response to a head cleaning request signal obtained from the drive unit. When a cleaning request signal is outputted, the optical head is automatically cleaned by the use of the cleaning cartridge carried by the accessor.

A rocker shaft (35) is provided with a first free rocker arm (36) in sliding contact with the high-speed cam (32), a pair of driving rocker arms (37) operatively connected to the pair of engine valves (20), respectively, and in sliding contact with the low-speed cams (34), and a pair of second free rocker arms (38) disposed with the driving rocker arms (37) interposed between the second free rocker arms (38) and the first free rocker arm (36) to be in sliding contact with the medium-speed cams (33). First and second connection switching means (39, 40) are provided and separately switchable between states for selectively connecting the various rocker arms for operating the driving rocker arms (37) and engine valves (20) in low-speed, medium-speed and high-speed operating ranges of the engine.
