    摘要: A steering wheel includes a ring portion to be gripped during steering. The ring portion includes a core, a core coating layer coating the core, and a decorative layer arranged at a portion of the surface of the core coating layer. The decorative layer has a printed layer and a transparent protective coating layer. The printed layer is formed by hydraulic transfer and is arranged to cover surface portions of the core coating layer. The transparent protective coating layer covers the surface of the printed layer so as to protect the printed layer. The ring portion further includes a skin arranged at the remaining surface portions of the surface of the core coating layer and a level difference portion for folding therein the end portions of the skin arranged between the portion and the remainder of the surface of the core coating layer. The smooth decorative layer can be easily formed on the surface of the ring portion in this manner.

    摘要: An air bag apparatus, assembled in a vehicle steering wheel, is provided with an inflator, an air bag in a folded state and a cover for covering the folded air bag. The cover provided with a hinged door portion which is opened by a force at a time when the bag body is initially developed and inflated as it deploys. The air bag is folded to one direction to form a long and narrow shape having a predetermined width and both ends of the long and narrow shape are housed in a housing space formed between the inflator and the cover in the form of outwardly winding rolls. At a time of initial development of the air bag, each outer surface of the outwardly winding rolls is brought into contact with a wall surface of the housing space opposing to the outer surface by a gas supplied from the inflator so that the development of the outwardly winding rolls is temporally delayed.

    摘要: An air bag device 1 is arranged at a steering wheel W. In the air bag device 1, a large door 12 and a planar horn switch 28 can be arranged at a ceiling 10 of a pad 9 with no disadvantage. The air bag device 1 is arranged with a horn switch 28 and a support plate 33 between an air bag 2 and the pad 9. The switch 28 and a support portion 34 of the support plate 33 are constituted in a planar shape substantially equal to that of the openable door 12 of the ceiling 10 of the pad. The support plate 33 is provided with an attaching leg 39 placed along a side wall 17 of the pad. The support plate 33 is attached to a bag holder 19 by the attaching leg 39. Positioning recesses 36 and positioning projections 14 for engaging with each other are formed at the support portion 34 and the door 12. Further, supporting projections 15 for providing a space of predetermined size between the support portion 34 and an inside surface of the door 12 when brought into contact with each other, are formed at the support portion 34 and the door 12.

    摘要: A system and method for continuous operation of a virtual machine system having operation modes including a guest mode in which virtual machines are operated and a nonguest mode in which a virtual machine monitor for controlling the virtual machines is operated. The continuous guest is a virtual machine which does not stop executing operation at the occurrence of a failure due to program error of the virtual machine monitor. A main storage is provided with two areas. One of the two areas is a continuous guest area having the same host absolute address in the nonguest mode as a guest absolute address in the guest mode, the area is used by the continuous guest which is a virtual machine which continues to operate on transition of the operation mode from the guest mode to the nonguest mode. The other is an area in which a program module for dispatching the continuous guest in response to the transition of the operation mode from the guest mode to the nonguest mode. The continuous guest is allocated to the guest area on transition of the operation mode from the guest mode to the nonguest mode. Occurrence of a failure due to a program error of the virtual machine monitor is detected and by starting the program module for dispatching the continuous guest in response to the detection of the occurrence of the failure, the operation of the continuous guest does not stop executing.

    摘要: The invention discloses a telephone set and a method for its operation for storing a message and a telephone number of each telephone set to which a message is transferred, and reading out the telephone number to perform dialing for the destination telephone set. If a continuous period of silence is sent back from the destination telephone set for a predetermined time interval within a larger predetermined time interval after the connection is established, the telephone set reproduces the recorded message and sends it over the telephone lines to the destination set, otherwise the telephone set disconnects from the telephone line. The operation is automatically repeated for each designated destination telephone set, thereby automatically transferring the same message to a plurality of destination telephone sets.
