摘要: A laminating apparatus for laminating a film on a record medium includes a fixing unit for fixing a film onto a front side of a record medium, a feed unit for feeding the record medium to the fixing unit, a film introducing unit for directing the film to the fixing unit, and a conveying unit for conveying toward a discharge port the record medium and the film which are fixed together by the fixing unit. A cutter is disposed between the conveying unit and the discharge port and adapted to cut the film, and a control unit having a repeat mode is provided in which the conveying unit is stopped in a condition that a preceding record medium leaves the fixing unit and the feed unit is driven to feed a succeeding record medium toward the fixing unit. The fixing unit and the conveying unit are driven again before a leading end of the succeeding record medium reaches the fixing unit, while the succeeding record medium and the introduced film are fixed together as discharging the preceding record medium from the discharge port.

摘要: In a material feeding mechanism in association with a continuous sintering apparatus, a material (S) carried by a transporting conveyer (1) into an atmosphere-displacement chamber (2) is fed into a furnace casing (4) of the continuous sintering apparatus by using a loading pusher (3). The transporting conveyor, the atmosphere-displacement chamber, and the loading pusher are arranged in such a manner that a direction in which the material is carried by the transporting conveyor and a direction in which the material is fed from the atmosphere-displacement chamber into the furnace casing by the loading pusher are linearly aligned, and the loading pusher and a drive unit thereof are installed under a floor of the atmosphere-displacement chamber so that the loading pusher moves up over the floor surface of the atmosphere-displacement chamber and moves forward and backward on the floor surface of the atmosphere-displacement chamber when the material is fed into the furnace casing. By such a construction, the longitudinal dimension of the continuous sintering apparatus can be made as short as possible to realize a compact design as a whole.

摘要: An optical operating device is provided on an operation panel of an audio system or the like, including a recess formed on the operation panel; several light receiving portions are formed on a first inside surface of the recess and arranged in a longitudinl direction of the recess; several light emitting portions are formed on a second inside surface of the recess opposed to the first inside surface, with each light emitting portion corresponding to a light receiving portion. Several light paths thus pass from the light emitting portions across the recess to the light receiving portions, and the light paths are arranged in the longitudinal direction of the recess. A light source supplies the light to each light emitting portion, and a photo detector is connected to the light receiving portions for generating a predetermined signal according to the light emitted from the light emitting portions and received by the light receiving portions. With this arrangement, tone control or the like in the audio system is easily carried out by inserting a finger into the recess and moving the finger to a desired position.
