摘要: Disclosed is an objective lens driving apparatus having a holder 9 holding an objective lens 1 and connected to a base 17 through at least four linear members 13, such that the holder 9 can be moved both in the focussing direction and in the tracking direction orthogonal to the focussing direction through the flexing of the linear members 13. Undesirable local resonance can be suppressed due to the use of the linear members 13 in support of the holder 9.

摘要: A communication device transmits a first packet to a first device via a network device, and receives a second packet from the first device. A transmission time between the communication device and the first device is calculated using time indicated by the communication device when the communication device transmitted the first packet, time indicated by the first device when the first device received the first packet, time indicated by the first device when the first device transmitted the second packet, time indicated by the communication device when the communication device received the second packet. A size of the first packet is set so that wait time of the first packet at the network device is within predetermined period. The wait time is calculated by assuming that a third packet transmitted from a second device is inputted to the network device before the first packet is inputted to the network device.

摘要: A sound separation apparatus for separating a target signal from a mixed input signal, wherein the mixed input signal includes the target signal and one or more sound signals emitted from different sound sources. The sound separation apparatus according comprises a frequency analyzer for performing a frequency analysis on the mixed input signal and calculating spectrum and frequency component candidate points at each time. The apparatus further comprises feature extraction means for extracting feature parameters which are estimated to correspond with the target signal, comprising a local layer for analyzing local feature parameters using the spectrum and the frequency component candidate points and one or more global layers for analyzing global feature parameters using the feature parameters extracted by the local layer. The apparatus further comprises a signal regenerator for regenerating a waveform of the target signal using the feature parameters extracted by the feature extraction means.Since both of local feature parameters and global feature parameters can be processed together in the feature extraction means, the separation accuracy of the target signal is improved without depending on the accuracy for extracting feature parameters from the input signal. Feature parameters to be extracted include frequencies and amplitudes and their variation rates for the frequency component candidate points, harmonic structure, pitch consistency, intonation, on-set/off-set information and/or sound source direction. The number of the layers provided in the feature extraction means may be changed according to the types of the feature parameters to be extracted.

摘要: A fuel vapor treatment or recovery system for an automotive internal combustion engine. The system comprises a canister containing a fuel vapor adsorbing material. A membrane separation module is provided to be connected to the canister and including a separation membrane for separating a mixture gas into an air-rich component and a fuel vapor-rich component. The separation membrane has an air-selective permeability so that the air-rich component is be able to pass through the separation membrane, the mixture gas containing air and fuel vapor. Additionally, a gas transporting device is provided to be connected to the canister, for causing purge gas to be introduced into the canister to purge fuel vapor from the fuel vapor adsorbing material and causing fuel vapor purged from the canister to be fed to the membrane separation module. Here, the fuel vapor-rich component is fed to an intake air passageway of an engine so that vacuum generated by the engine acts on the separation membrane so as to serve as a driving force for membrane separation. Further, the air-rich component from the membrane separation module is returned to the fuel tank so that fuel vapor component contained in the fuel vapor-rich component is recovered to the fuel tank upon being subjected to at least one of liquefaction and absorption to liquid fuel in the fuel tank.

摘要: A hydraulic brake apparatus includes a control valve having a spool which is bi-directionally movable between a first position and a second position, the spool, when located at the first position, allowing brake fluid from a low-pressure source to pass through the control valve to a wheel cylinder, and the spool, when located at the second position, allowing brake fluid from a high-pressure source to pass through the control valve to the wheel cylinder. A first unit introduces brake fluid from the wheel cylinder into the control valve, the brake fluid having a wheel cylinder pressure exerted to move the spool in a first direction toward the first position. A second unit introduces brake fluid from a master cylinder into the control valve, the brake fluid having a master cylinder pressure exerted to move the spool in a second, reverse direction toward the second position. A third unit reduces the master cylinder pressure exerted on the spool.
