摘要： A flexible pipe unit for an exhaust pipe line of an internal combustion engine comprises a metal bellows which has a front open end adapted to be connected to a first exhaust pipe and a rear open end adapted to be connected to a second exhaust pipe. A cylindrical outer case of metal is coaxially disposed about the metal bellows in a manner to define therebetween a cylindrical space. A first structure is arranged between a front end of the outer case and a front end of the bellows to achieve a mechanical connection therebetween. A second structure is arranged between a rear end of the outer case and a rear end of the bellows to achieve a mechanical connection therebetween. At least one of the first and second structures comprises a spring member by which the bellows and the outer case are resiliently connected.

摘要： An electric field intensity measuring circuit measures the electric field intensity of each of multiple communication channels available for data communication. A channel determiner compares electric field intensities measured by an electric field intensity measuring circuit with multiple different thresholds including a first threshold as the carrier sense threshold and a second threshold that is the detrimental interference level the interference of which causes the reception sensitivity to deteriorate, counts the numbers of times that the electric field intensity exceeds the thresholds on each communication channel, and selects a communication channel for use based on the counted numbers of times that the thresholds have been exceeded on the communication channels.

摘要： A device identification code for identifying an electric device is generated based on electric device information predefined for each electric device. Accordingly, it becomes unnecessary for a communication adapter to be provided with a memory device storing the device identification code for identifying the electric device. A structure of the communication adapter can be therefore simplified, resulting in an avoidance of a network complication. Furthermore, precise identification of the electric device constituting the network can be accomplished using the device identification code.

摘要： The display color of, for example, a button image responsive to a command input into a facility operation display device is controlled by a palette value having a smaller number of bits than an RGB value. When the display color of the button image is changed, the palette value of a drawing object associated with the button image is changed to an RGB value. This eliminates the necessity of incorporating, for example, a high-performance CPU as a central arithmetic unit. In addition, it is not necessary to pre-store images corresponding to several kinds of display colors specified by RGB values, to thereby eliminates the necessity of incorporating, for example, a high-capacity storage medium in the facility operation display device. Accordingly, the device cost can be reduced.

摘要： An air conditioning equipment having an in-room unit connected to one end of the refrigerant pipes and an out-room unit connected to the other end of the refrigerant pipes. The air conditioning equipment includes signal coupling portions which are respectively disposed at both end parts of the refrigerant pipes. Each of the signal coupling portions couples an alternating current (AC) control signal to the refrigerant pipes and exhibits a predetermined impedance with respect to an AC electric signal. The configuration of the air conditioning equipment brings forth the advantages that the electrical insulation devices used in the prior art are dispensed with, and the signal transmissions between the in-room unit and the out-room unit can be performed by a simple apparatus configuration.

Thus, with a game apparatus using a plurality of acceleration sensors or a plurality of sensors capable of detecting a motion or a posture, a dynamic play is made possible with a high degree of freedom of motion and an intuitive motion input is realized.

摘要： A modulator modulates a voltage signal corresponding to inputted transmission data, and outputs the signal as a voltage signal between a communication wire and a shared wire. A demodulator demodulates a voltage signal based on the potential difference between the communication wire and the shared wire, and outputs the signal as a demodulated signal. A connector connects the communication wire and the shared wire to the modulator and the demodulator by means of a high voltage capacitor that withstands voltages up to a predetermined level. A controller receives, as incoming data, serial data corresponding to a voltage signal demodulated in demodulator if the serial data includes an address of its own apparatus, monitors a demodulated signal outputted from the demodulator, and outputs transmission data that includes a destination address to the modulator if the controller determines that no signal is being transmitted in the communication wire.
